 It annoying I keep meeting annoying faces today. Now am home only to see old man the sitting in the living room, reading newspaper, mum was beside him pressing her phone, James was just climbing the stairs down, he saw me and smirk, I roll my eyes at him, I guess it gonna be a long night. "Good evening Old man, good evening mum"I greeted both of them "Evening, go wash up and come down for dinner"mum said not looking at me, I roll my eyes at her, then limb the stairs up straight to my room. Am having a wired feeling about old man silence not even scolding me for going out or for missing the dinner he invited me three days ago, "This man is not up to something good"I mutter to myself and enter the wash room.

We all eat in silence making me feel uncomfortable. "Why didn't you come to the dinner party I invited you"old man asked still eating his food, my heart skip for a while, I was expecting this question, he's always talking coldly and he hate repeating word. "That because I didn't want to, all the people there are fucking old faces"I said boldly not minding the fact I might receive punishment for what I just said. "Ella mind your language" mum snap at me rolling her. "Call me Karma, not Ella I hate that name"I said in disgust, I actually don't like the name Ella, it sound dull for someone like me Karma is for bitches which is why I preferred it to Ella. "And why is that?" James finally talk, making me pissed off I hissed loudly at him "And when do we start talking"I said. "Silent"Old man said coldly still not looking up, I smirk and we all continue eating.I hate eating with them all, they are so annoying, but am still kinda surprise old man for not doing anything to what I said.

 "What is your husband up to"I ask mum as she enter my room "What do you mean"she ask acting innocent, "mum, you can't tell me you don't fucking understand what am saying" I said looking straight into her eyes, what always annoys me about her, she always listen to that old man, no matter what, I wonder why this beautiful woman married some one like that old man, though he still kinda look young and health but his character is abnormal. The last time I check mom came from a rich family, or else I would have say she married him because of his money.

 Mum is just Fifty five years, but she still look like a Forty years old lady, she's really beautiful, people always say I took after her beauty, same to that old man, he will be celebrating Seventy in one year time, seeing his face you would know he was a handsome man when he was young, even his friends always say James is a young version of him. We are all beautiful in Romano family, which everyone knows. Even with the fact not everyone know me to be part of Romano family, the few that knows are the heart of Seashore.

 "Mum why do you marry that old man"I suddenly ask her"She chuckles to my question "You and your weird questions, well your father was handsome in his youth days"she said smiling, I roll my eyes I hate it when people call that old man my father. "So if am to guess you married him because of his look"I said more like a question, she eyed me jokingly, I chuckles "I married him because I love him"she said with a sigh, but I believe there's more to that, I decided not to question about there relationship, it none of my business. "So mum tell what is he up to"I ask "As how"she ask "Normally he would have yell at me at the dinning table, for wandering around the town, when am a Romano that am not supposed to be seen anyhow with common people or he would have hold me under house arrest for not coming to the dinner party he invited me, if he's not doing all that, then he's up to no good"I said. Mum smile a little "Dear daughter, just always have it at the back of your mind, that, your father loves you and he care about you"She said smiling sweely at me.

 "We both know that everything he do is always for his selfish reasons, tell me, will a responsible caring father tell his daughter to go on a date with his old friend, will a responsible father kill in front of children not minding there age"I said with anger as I remember all the thing he did that make me hate him. "A responsible father will do everything to protect his family and that's what he's doing, you going on a date with his friend was to save his business and that business he's saving is you and your brother Future"mum said trying to defend him "You know he's a mafia lord, there's no way he won't kill, he has haters who also want him dead"she convince "So by killing in front of eight years and thirteen years child is what a responsible father those, He fucking ruin a family in front of I and that asshole, he fucking turn James to a killer, I hate him"I yell in tears "Ella listen to me"mum said wanting to touch me I move away from her. "I don't want to hear any bullshit again please leave"I said calmly and lay on the bed, as I remember how he turn my brother to something else, how he kill countless people in our present, how he turn James to be like him.
