2ND TIMES THE CHARM

~~<Y/n's POV>~~

I was traversing the woods where I escaped from Verdia a few days ago... yes you heard me, a few days ago. I got a bit lost after I was running away from that place, I was cold because of my shredded outfit, hungry because I can't cook food properly and very tired and I noticed that everyday there's been an explosion going off in the distance behind me. Hmmm I wonder whose been doing that? Eh, I guess we'll never know. But back on track, I was walking along a path of trees that lead to who knows where with the orb in my hand who is apparently able to have conversations with me which is kinda neat.

Y/n: so how long have you been here?

Hikaru: to be honest, I've kinda forgotten how long I was here, I think it was... several centuries ago? I don't know.

Y/n: Jesus, that long? Wow.

Hikaru: I know right? Like I've been here longer than any human has ever had, I had seen kingdoms rise and fall, wars between civilizations, and other wacky and crazy stuff.

Y/n: damn, It must have been boring when your trying to find another user.

Hikaru: you have no idea...

Just then, my enemy detection skill picked up on something in the distance.

Y/n: wha zat?

Hikaru: Hm?

Y/n: my enemy detection skill is sensing something up ahead, what do you think is the right play here?

Hikaru: you should probably check it out.

Y/n: ok.

I ran as fast as I could but careful enough to not get any attention. I kept running until I found a clearing of some sorts so I went to that direction and tried to find the thing that's been triggering my detection skill.

Hikaru: how much farther?

Y/n: not that far, its right about over this hill, I think...

I slowly made my way up the hill to see, oh no... no not again.

Y/n: shit!... its Verdia.

Hikaru: the sword wielding Verdia?

Y/n: yeah, him.

Hikaru: did you know that his weakness was water?

Y/n: no I didn't, and you just gave me an awesome Idea.

Hikaru: really?

Y/n: yup.

I then summoned a high pressure water gun that I filled with the holy water that I had with me and snuck behind Verdia and try to ambush him from behind while he's still distracted.

~~<Kazuma's POV>~~

While Megumin was making her speech I noticed someone lurking behind Beldia, when I gave another close look I soon found out it was Y/n and he had something red in his hands. It was probably a gun that can defeat this guy. I knew I could count on him. I saw that he was doing hand signs that was directed to Megumin. Both then winked at each other and she continued to stall for time

Beldia: I did not come here to meddle with novices anyway. I shall be staying in my castle indefinitely. Do NOT use your spells on it ever again, understood?

Megumin: No! Us crimson demons use explosion spells a day or we'll die!

When I heard what she said I immediately face palmed at how stupid her lie was, even Y/n was looking at her weird, even Beldia himself Knew it was a bad attempt at lying.

Beldia: W-WHAT!? I never heard that before! You just made that up, didn't you!?

Kazuma: 'this is not gonna end well is it'

Beldia: I take it you will intend to keep bombarding my castle then!?

Megumin then nods yes to the question which was entirely obvious, well for me and Y/n that is.

Beldia: I may be evil now but I was a knight once. Killing the weak never appealed to me... till now.

He said while glaring directly at Megumin's soul.

Megumin: he... you sir should have run away while you had the chance, Y/n, if you will!

Darkness and Aqua: Y/n?

Beldia: Y/n!!?

Y/n: with pleasure...

Beldia still fuming hearing my teammates name turned around only to be met by him with his gun pointed at his detached head. He then sprayed him with water? How's that gonna help?

Beldia: ...

Y/n: ...

Everyone: ...

Beldia: AAAAAAARGGGH!!!!! MY EYES!!!! IT BURNS!!!!

IT WORKED!? well that's happening now I guess

Y/n: holy shit It worked... AQUA! PURIFY HIM NOW!!!

Aqua: alright! Let's do this

~~<NO ONES POV>~~

The headless knight then looked back at Y/n, fuming with rage, glaring at him with the intent to kill.

Veldia: you!... YOUR GOING TO PAY FOR HUMILIATING ME IN THE EYES OF LORD ALRATH!!! I WILL KILL YOU, YOU FILTHY WEASEL!

Y/n: yeah, but before you do that, have you heard of god?

Verdia: what?

Then a pillar of light came down on Verdia, Purifying his horse out of existence and stinging him with the holy light.

Verdia: AAAARRGHH!!! THAT STINGS

Aqua: Hah! Take that you filthy Demon!

Everyone then erupts into cheers as they cheer on the brave adventurers fighting the evil menace. But Soon those cheers turned into gasps as Verdia was FUCKING PISSED beyond hell.

Verdia: I have had ENOUGH of this!

He then took out his sword and bashed Y/n with it sending him flying towards Megumin.

Megumin: Y/N!

Kazuma: shit!

Verdia then towered the both of them as he delivers his final word to them.

Verdia: I am one of the devil kings generals and I will not be humiliated by some novices like you! Especially you, Y/n! you have been a nuisance far too long and it's time I payed you for your insolence, by making your Mage friend her suffer a bit

Y/n: NO! Don't!

He then raises his arm high with a dark aura surrounding it.

Vedia: IT'S TOO LATE! I sentence thee, TO DEATH! In one week, you. Shall. DIE!

Then the curse was casted upon Megumin as the dark aura around his hand went towards Megumin. She stood there frozen in fear that her life was going to end. But as fate would have it, it still wasn't her time as a light barrier appeared and deflected the curse back towards Verida.

Verdia: WHAT!?

Y/n: light magic: reflective surface!

Verdia actively dodged his own curse but still was dumbfounded at the sudden show of power coming from the boy.

Verdia: I see... you still have fight left in you eh?

Y/n: that's right.

He said as he stood back up on his feet again with a white aura surrounded him.

Y/N: how about we have round two?

He then looks at Verdia, his E/c eyes turned into a metallic white as he stared down Verdia. Then he starts walking towards Verdia, menacingly.

Verdia: hoho... your approaching me? Instead of running away your coming right to me?

Y/n: I can't beat the shit out of you without coming any closer.

Verdia: hehe... then come as close as you like.

They both then walk towards each other, their glares unfaltering. As they took their last step, Verdia then swung his sword at unimaginable speeds while Y/n casted his skill

Y/n: light skill: Astral projection! [Making mirrors]!

then from behind him a spirit came out and punched the sword to a stop just inches away from Y/n's face. The spirit had a machine like look with a lot of crystalline features.

Kazuam: holy shit...

Verdia: wha-what the!?

Y/n then had a smirk on his face as he exclaims.

Y/n: this is, STANDO POWAH!!

Suddenly Verdia's face was smacked by [Making Mirrors] making verdia slide back with his head cocked back. He stays at that position for a bit until he starts chuckling.

Verdia: hahahahaha... I see, so that's what you call it. Well, two can play it that way. Dark skill: astral projection! [ZA WARUDO]!!!

Then a similar spirit came out of Verdia as it too took a stance along with him.

Y/n: WHA!!? I-IMPOSSIBLE!!!

Verdia: now then, let us finish this... ZA WARUDO!!!

Then time suddenly stops as Verdia Walks toward Y/n With a Menacing aura around him

Verdia: good bye, Y/n!!!

Time then resumes and the punches that verdia delivered was successfully received by his opponent as he watched as Y/n gets pummeled to death by his punches

Y/n: AAAARRGGHH!!!

Y/n was then flung backwards as he lands with a loud thud.

Verda: hoho... I guess you couldn't defeat me aft-ARGH!

Verdia the spat out blood suddenly as his whole body was in pain, like it was punched multiple times. He looks over and sees Y/n standing, smiling while his stand was beside him.

Y/n: hehe... my stand, [Making Mirrors] has an ability where it absorbs half of the damage inflicted on me and sends it back to the attacker at twice the damage!

Verdia: NANI!

Y/n was now right in front of Verdia as his stand slowly reels its hand backwards for a punch.

Y/n: now, go back to hell!

Verdia: shit, [ZA WA-

Before Verdia could activate his stand, Y/n shuts him up by delivering a heavy blow to his chest and cracks his chest plate and knocking the wind out of him

Y/n: [Making Mirrors]!

With the last hit he send verdia flying backwards with shards of his armor was sent everywhere.

(stop music)

But then in an unexpected turn of events, a red portal appeared and out of it came Lord Alrath and successfully caught Verdia. Everyone was frozen, not by shock, but just the mere presence of Alrath made everyone fall to their knees and freeze up. Alrath took a look at the people and settled his vision on a certain stand user as he mutters his name...

Alrath: Y/n...

Then as quickly as he appeared he walks back in the portal and disappear.

Everyone was quiet for a bit, until an adventurer screamed in joy as Verdia was defeated and after him everyone followed suit cheering Y/n for his victory.

Everyone: HOORAY!!!

Y/n's eyes return to their original color as his white aura disappeared and morphed back into a white orb before he falls to the ground as the adrenaline was wearing off.

Y/n: god, my body is in so much pain right now...

Hikaru: well you did just take that barrage of hits from Verdia so it is to be expected.

Y/n; yeah, guess your right.

Kazuma, Darkness, Aqua, Megumin: Y/n!

Y/n: sup guys! Y'all miss me?

Darkness: Y/n are you okay?

Y/n: I'll be fine after Aqua heals me, so please get to it aqua, I can't handle the pain anymore.

Aqua: on it.

Aqua then puts her hands over him and starts healing him.

Kazuma: dud, that was epic. How did you do that?

Y/n: lets just say I had a little help *briefly looks at white orb*

Aqua: there, your all healed.

Y/n then tries to feel if anything was out of place or something but it turns out he was totally fine.

Y/n: thanks Aqua.

Aqua: no problem

Megumin: Y/n, *bows* Thank you for saving me from that curse.

Y/n: aww, don't worry about it, now, who wants to go back to the guild and eat, cause I haven't eaten in days. So who's with me?

Kazuma, Aqua, Darkness, Megumin: YEAH!!!
