ANSWER TO THE PUZZLE
God, what's going on?
Alex doesn't know what to think of how his wife is behaving.
She just walked out as if not thinking that his mother and grandmother were at the table with them.
He doesn't know whether to follow her or just to continue eating.
They are all tired. If her excuse or reason for having an attitude is because she feels exhausted, that's unreasonable and unacceptable.
Alex exchanged looks from his mom and his grandmother.
To his surprise, they are both smiling while looking at him.
"What's so funny?" he said to himself. Does he have any dirt on his face or what Diane did is just fun for them?
His eyes widened and he raised his shoulders.
The elders were just looking at him and shook their heads.
God. Could you please speak? If only he can utter these words at them.
But even before he could open his mouth, the old woman spoke.
