Chapter 32 The Journey Begins

The night before their departure, as dusk fell...

Tanner came to her door and raised his hand slightly, but he did not open the door. He heard from Ms. Bell that she had been very happy and in good spirits, even smiling at everyone. Now that he had come back, he was not sure whether she could even fall asleep or not.

He must not scare her anymore…

He knew that Eliza still hadn’t fully accepted him. However, he had never doubted his own abilities. No matter how much she rejected him, he would still be able to conquer her eventually.
