Book 2 - Chapter 4- Ocean – Bachelor Party

~~

Ocean

~~

Well, the day of the dreaded parties arrived. I wasn't all that upset about these parties being held, but I didn't really see the point in it. I wasn't losing anything by marrying Makai, so I didn't need this party.

To the best of my knowledge, bachelor parties were like a last hurrah that men had before they were 'tied down' or before they were 'saddled with their future', then there was the last day of 'that old ball and chain'. I mean, if they viewed marriage like that, why did they bother to get married in the first place? Why did they intentionally want to stick that sort of thought process into their love life? They needed to be looking at it all differently. They needed to think of the good things. They needed to think about the love that they shared with their significant other.
