A Villain's Guide to World Domination

{On break...} Let me begin by telling you how much I hate cliches and Happy ever after's. Cinderella, getting the prince with love at first sight, snow-white, and her Prince with love’s first kiss…who’s gonna tell these fools that real life doesn’t work like that and don't even get me started with the so-called heroes. It's almost like the world is blind, and my four-eyed self(making sure to clean my pair of glasses before putting them back on) is the only human that can see that: Villains are the true masterminds, the ones with the goals, the only people who see the world as it is- an apple for the taking. That's why my motto is: Life is short and I, Ray, should always come FIRST. ********* Unlike the cute facade Ray puts up in front of his mother: the only person he cares about, Ray is anything but cute. He sees the world he lives in a little differently and he intends to change it. Unlike others vying to become heroes, he embraces the villain he knows himself to be and the absolute ruler he hopes to become. In a high-tension world where superhumans exist alongside mutated beasts with powers of their own , there is a huge gap between heroes and villains. Apart from the different grades(F-A) powers are divided into, they are also classified into two main groups. Propensity for good( Hero-like) and Propensity for bad(Villain-like). This means that the power each person can awaken directly affects how they are treated and which organizations and groups they can join. At fifteen, Ray’s life doesn’t go according to how he planned it. Not only is he unable to awaken his powers but caught in the crossfire of a huge battle between a hero and a villain, his life lingers at the brink of death. Just before his soul escapes his body, he gains a death-related system that not only changes his looks and body but also the way people view him. Regardless, Ray doesn’t care. His sole purpose is *world domination* even if he has to bring the world to its knees first. At first, he tries to join hands with a villain organization his father belonged to when he was alive, to take down as many heroes as he can as his powers slowly grow to balance the gap between the two groups. But when he discovers how shallow-minded other villains were to each other and themselves. Almost at the cost of his life, he finds a way to upgrade his system and ventures out on his own, building his army from scratch, using the very souls of the mutated beasts the human race is daily battling to defeat. A Small Battle

Running as fast as I could, dodged and swerved through crowds that were already beginning to form on the streets, preparing to watch the fight between one of the top heroes of the city, belonging to Incinerate's (one of the seven top heroes in the continent) own bloodline and a strong villain.

I continued running until I got to sector one, where my house was but it was even harder to run through the crowds since everyone had stopped whatever they were doing and were fully concentrating on the fight, ignoring the warnings of the "Judges" to run away and hide since they might become collateral damage for the fight.

It was fierce, the villain could shoot lasers, while Horati one of the top heroes of the city, did what he did best, he burned everything to a crisp to the extent that an outside observer, wouldn't be able to help but wonder why he had such shitty aim as he threw flames of blue and red fire at the enemy,

destroying buildings and shops whenever he missed.

There was fire everywhere as firemen tried to put it out without giving it a chance to spread, while the rest tried to protect and heal citizens that got injured in the process, meanwhile, I kept on racing home.

At that moment nothing was more important than my mother.

"You should just give up already. You're too weak, so weak that I could bury you in the ground if I wanted to...," Yelled Horati at the villain in front of him as the villain successfully dodged one of the blue flames, he threw his way.

"Tchh... It's just a pity that the lawmakers made a stupid law and I can't just kill you in public," Horati murmured in annoyance to himself, generating a bigger ball of blue flame as his eyes blazed a fiery red in anger.

"Oh shut up...," Falorn yelled right back blasting two successive red lasers his way, as he huffed and puffed, standing on a wind glider that enabled him to fly in the air, while doing his best to try and shoot down Horati who was also using equipment he couldn't see to remain flying in the air.

Taking a quick glance below him Falorn could see people, convinced that most of them already considered him to be nothing more than a terrible person for the mere fact that he was fighting with one of their heroes.

"You're shit and your control is shit. If I didn't already know that you were one of the seven, I'll think you were their Mascot. Did you even train your abilities at all or did you just go around barging into every fight like a brainless bull," Falorn shouted loud enough for all the media cameras buzzing around them to hear, delighted to see Horati turn a perfect shade of red from trying to quell his anger.

"I guess the rumors are true," Falorn calmly thought staring at the big man in front of him who suddenly materialized five balls of blue flames, two times bigger than the ones he had been throwing at him before.

"I guess after robbing a bank, being bait while your other partners escape is not such a good idea," Falorn thought, charging the electromagnetic pulses in his hand prepared to unleash everything he had and escape, before any other hero would think to join the fight.

Horati was pissed and all he could think of was frying the bug that stood in front of him. Suddenly he felt, five balls of flames weren't enough so he gradually made five more appear, increasing their size to the best of his ability.

"This is a residential area...are you trying to kill people," Falorn yelled in shock, but Incinerate merely ignored him and continued fuelling the huge balls of flames that surrounded him, making the temperature to be high enough to melt anyone's skin and bones if they came too close.

"Then don't dodge it then...even though it's not like you'll be able to," Horati smirked right before shooting all the blue boiling balls he created at him, thrilled to watch him try to dissolve them with his lasers instead of evading them with the high-quality glider he flew on.

"Bastard!!" Falorn yelled, shooting multiple layers of lasers just to try and dissolve one ball of flame. His body burned and the temperature soared, but he kept standing in the midst of the blaze, trying to destroy them, even with the full knowledge that his laser powers weren't suitable for destroying balls of flames.

Falorn did his best but he had been fighting for a while and unlike Horati who displayed the stamina of a beast, he didn't. He struggled with five and for him, ten was almost impossible to deal with.

His eyes flashed in fear, as he watched a few of the balls shoot directly past him, heading to the house directly behind him as he internally prayed that the citizens had been evacuated...but a second's distraction was enough for him to completely miss the new set of blue balls heading his way.

In the meantime, Ray finally got home, sweat dripping from his forehead more from his anxiety than the exercise he just did.

With a sigh of relief, he saw his mother standing at the door, as she also suddenly turned to look at him with a huge smile on her face, waving vigorously at him with all the strength she could muster.

About ten steps were all the distance between them, and he was just about to close the distance, when his eyes unknowingly caught a blue ball falling from the sky.
