A Vampire System

My MC Draig is back in another start struck adventure. After many requests on the reboot I have decided to bring back the original with a few minor differences. Draig is a troubled youth chosen to receive a class, thinking it was his moment of glory he was distraught to find out he had received a Vampire Class. Now as the city turns against him how will he carry himself, will he become a Monster like the people think or will he rise above it and become their greatest protector. Alas it is hard to tell with a heritage like his, so come along and enjoy the adventure that inspired my contracted novel System of a Vampire.

A Vampire System pt2: Learning about The System

It was two days after the lottery and Zarra had finished organizing his schedule in order to teach the young Vampire the ropes of being a Guilder, the revelation had caused those of the Guild Association to go into a rage. Of all the things they had thought the man would do it had never crossed their minds that Zarra would be teaching the youth.

However while they had complained it wasn't something they could really enforce, Zarra was one of the Ten Devils which made up nearly half of the District leaders. On top of this he was the strongest of the ten, able to subdue any one of them and even all of them together singlehandedly.

There were twenty six districts, these districts each held their own Guild association which was headed by the strongest guilders filling the top rankings, these people oversaw their district and their own group of Guilds. These twenty six Districts were connected to one another in an odd manner that if the entirety of it was looked upon from the sky it could be seen to form a ring.

In the center of this ring was the Guild building of every respective Guild belonging to the districts, the ring itself was made up of the normal populace where various markets and farmland was placed.

This was how humanity had managed to continue on as the boost of the Class Bestowal Unit may have evened the odds but still did not give them the overpowering might to take more land from the surrounding forest known as the Beast lands. This being the home of the monsters that the Guilders sought to guard humanity from.

The monster's saving grace was the fact that they produced far more offspring than the Humans save for those of Monster Nobility like the Elves, Vampires, Werewolves, etc. This was really the determining factor and the reason that Humanity had united to create the Stronghold in which they resided. The belief a race would be stronger united stood true for humans but even so you could find throughout the land Dark guilds and other dens of more nefarious people who had to hash it out among the Beasts in order to live their lifestyle without the rules and laws of the Districts.

Recognizing these facts, the leaders under Zarra's Guild Association had to sit and bark without any intention of biting. It was truly outrageous to them that someon of Zarra's caliber would take on a Dark creature like Draig, their minds seeming to have forgotten that Draig was once a human just like them until earlier that week.

However with Draig and Zarra it seemed to the man had begun to teach the Vampire the basics.

"Alright let's start with the menu, open it by saying the word in your mind and it should appear" stated Zarra as he and Draig sat inside his office across from each other.

'Menu' thought Draig and he nearly leapt back in surprise as a screen appeared before his face.

He inspected it as he stared at the different tabs in wonder, it was interesting to be able to see his status and the level of his physical traits.

"Alright, if im not mistaken your stats should have started out pretty high when compared to normal newbies. Then again I can't say for certain because as I have come to find out this is a first, so congrats on being the sole Monster System in history. You should have ten AP or Ability Points to spend to start with" started Zarra before Draig interrupted.

"Uh.... I don't have any AP, it's showing something called BP and it's at Zero currently....." cut in Draig as he looked at where he thought the place should be just above his stats.

"Oh..... Then let's go over your stats then. What are they currently standing at, depending on that we will see where we go from here" commented Zarra as that was a bit unexpected.

'Host: Draig Class: Vampire Lvl: Initiate

Int: 70 Str: 85 Agl: 60 Spd: 50 Dexterity: 70 Mp: 125

Skills: Blood Armory lvl 1 Blood Magic lvl 1 Necromancy lvl 1

Synopsis: A freshly turned vampire requiring the refinement and experience of time in order for his strength to grow.'

Draig read out his stats and the skills he currently had and looked towards Zarra who seemed a bit relieved at the numbers.

"Alright excellent, your stats aren't too badly off balance and even more so they are really high considering you only received your Class and System two days ago. Especially your Mana, it's a good foundation to build on. So let's go over a few things with the system before we start with the actual training. So if you look at a few of your other tabs you should see a window for missions, this will hold any missions known as Class Specific Missions. In there you will find Daily missions, Class Missions, and Hidden missions. Each one of these you will find crucial to your growth as a Guilder, this is the main source of the accumulation of skills for our line of work. Each of these missions will give you a randomized reward depending on the difficulty of the task it asks you to complete, sometimes in the form of AP or in your case BP and other times it will be skills, abilities, or even a boost to your Skill's level. In other words do your missions and complete them to the System's specifications to get the most out of having one." explained Zarra looking at Draig to see if he understood what was being said and he found himself pleased with the focused and attentive gaze he was receiving.

"Alright do you got it" asked Zarra with a smile, though the smile went unseen as the man had still not removed his hood.

"Yes, it doesn't seem too difficult to navigate the menu. It's all pretty self explanatory in my opinion" answered Draig getting a bit excited

"Excellent, then let's begin with the hands on training and I'll get you set up with a few low level missions" stated Zarra as he summoned a staff to his hand from seemingly nowhere.

Draig would have been a fool not to recognize the signature tool of a mage and the revelation caused him to look at Zarra in surprise as he would have thought the man was something a bit more hands on with the level of fear and respect he was shown.

"Let's start with channeling Mana" chuckled the mage as he formed an orb of Dark Mana in his palm.
