Healed Chase

After Chase passed out on the battlefield, the war finally came to an end, Alex entered the south wall and single-handedly killed all the Green Griffin Knights, taking control of the wall.

In the days that followed, the knights did nothing but worry about Chase and Ava who had been left unconscious after the intense battle. After what felt like an eternity, Ava finally woke up and rushed to Freya, seeking answers about what happened to Chase.

Blue Eagle Medical Base, where Chase lay in a bed, covered in bandages from head to toe. The room was dimly lit, and a cold cloth was placed on his forehead to soothe his fevered state. By his side, Ava sat, her chin resting on her hand, barely able to keep herself awake, her mind haunted by visions of Chase transforming into a menacing demon.

Ava's lips trembled as she repeatedly whispered Chase's name, her tone filled with fear and concern, unable to shake off the terrifying images she had seen during his bloodlust episode.

Gradually, Chase's eyes fluttered open, wincing at the brightness of the room."Where am i..."He tried to sit up but felt a sharp pain in his.

Confused and disoriented, looked down at himself, "What the hell happened to me" he looked around the room until he spotted Ava by his side.

Ava's head finally fell off her hand"Hmm" Ava yawed wiping her eye cutely, when she opened she spotted Chase.

"Chase!"Ava rushed to him, hugging him tightly, her crystal tears falling as she expressed her relief and happiness at his awakening.

"Ahh!, Ava"Chase shouted feeling pain all over his body from Ava's hug.

Ava let go of Chase backing away"Sorry, Sorry I was too excited."

Chase managed to raise his hand, ignoring the pain, and gently wiped away Ava's tears. "It's okay, don't cry," he comforted her.

Ava hand Chase's hand softly "I'm just happy, "Ava said lovingly.

"All right can you tell me what happened?"Chase asked eager to know what had happened to him during the battle and after.

Ava backed away and grabbed her chair bringing it closer sitting down"Well we won back the wall"

Chase nodded"But can you tell me what happened to me after the crash landing"

Ava said an expression of worry appeared on Ava's face not wanting to tell Chase but she still decide to.

Ava began recounting the events, revealing how Chase had gone into a bloodlust, relentlessly slaying the Green Griffin Knights.

Chase looked up toward the roof in his thoughts"So I went bloodlust and started killing all the green griffin knights" He said barely remembering what happened.

Ava nodded with a sincere looked on her face.

"So why am I in bandages?"Chase said looking at himself"And from head to toe"

"Oh, during the bloodlust no matter how many times you got hit you keep going so the damage finally built up from the accumulated injuries and blood loss, yo past out,"Ava explained from what Alex told her.

Realizing the severity of the situation, "Hmm alright seem I'm lucky to be alive"Chase said that he had survived such a harrowing experience."Ha, Ha" However, as he laughed lightly, pain shot through his body again.

"Ahh, "Chase grunted in pain.

Concerned, Ava moved closer and held his hand"Be careful you still need to heal"

Ava laid Chase back onto the bed as his pain subsided"Chase can you tell me what happened before and during the bloodlust"seeking to understand why he had lost control of his actions.

Taking a deep breath, Chase tried to recall what had happened"Well I remember"

Chase's mind went into a flashback"That I felt my concussions slowly slipping away after falling off the eagle, then I couldn't control my body but I did see what was happening outside the brutal way I killed those knights..."Chase paused.

Ava looked at Chase wondering why he stopped.

Chase looked down"And red eyes, "Chase said softly like a whisper, remembering something he saw in his mind.

"What?"Ava's suspicions grew when Chase mentioned seeing "red eyes." She pressed him for more details,

Chase raised his head to Ava"Well that's all I remember" but he brush it off with a big smile hiding masking the truth.

Ava looked at Chase for a couple second'Normally in bloodlust you can still control your body' She thought wanting to know why Chase couldn't control his body.

Wanting to shift the focus, "Right I want to know, how long have I been asleep?"Chase asked hoping in his mind it wasn't long.

Ava looked at him worriedly hesitated, fearing his reaction, "Chase I need you to promise you won't panic when you hear it" she said.

Chase looked at Ava strangely in his mind thinking it can't be that long"Ava what's wrong?"Chase insisted on knowing the truth.

"Chase promise me, "Ava said again.

"All right, Ava I promise, "Chase said.

With a deep breath, she revealed"Even with the help of healing potions it still took a week,"

Chase was taken aback, his heart skipping a beat at the realization of how much time had passed.

"Ava can you leave me to rest," he asked wanting some time alone to process the information.

"Alight you get a good rest"Ava got up and gave Chase a peck on his lip, turning around and walking toward the door.

As Ava was about to leave, she suddenly turned around with a look of remembering something"Oh right Freya said we have graduation in the king's castle so after you heal, during the week you need to get your suit measured for the ball"

Chase heard what Ava said but Chase was too lost in thought to pay much attention to it, In his quiet solitude, Chase accessed the system interface.

Chasse in his mind looked at the system interface uninterested as he saw he had 41320 and level up to 7, he just used 500, giving him 33 attribute points for one each costing 15 knight points, adding 5 strength,5 agility, 7 physiques, 5 Perception, and 4 spirits, 7 including charm, which he believed would be useful for the upcoming ball.

After making these adjustments, Chase turned his focus inward, during his sleep because of his newly allocated points, his body started to heal faster, Unbeknownst to him, a subtle transformation was taking place, altering his features, turning him into something akin to a godly figure.

As the days passed and Chase's graduation neared, he remained in the medical base, contemplating the path that lay ahead.
