For the next three days, the whole of Europe and Asia were entangled in a web of shadows and fear but also rejoicing and hope.
Someone out there was finally doing some cleaning... some justice their dirty and corrupt governmental organisations didn't want to do, maybe because they were involved to the marrow in it as well.
Some called them the saviours, some others thought that even if the people they killed were criminals, basic human rights should be respected at least, 'Nobody asked for a global policeman!'
Overall, the opinions were drastically divided, but the two individuals causing this mess couldn't care less about what people thought of them or if they agreed or not... The hunt would still continue, for as long as there were wicked souls to devour!
…
Just as Alucard was going after his next prey in China, a top dog in Zhonghai that was also the leader of a big gang called 'West Union Society' he saw a big commotion that made him stop and inspect…
Inside a particular alleyway in Zhonghai, two groups fought a battle not very common by human standards.
And what particularly attracted Alucard was that every single one of them was a cultivator…
His incorporeal existence phased through everything in space and covered the alleyway instantly.
*BAANG!!!*
*PAPAPAPA!!!*
Two groups, one with five members and the other with three fought in this alleyway rampantly not bothering the concerned citizen in the streets who after the series of events taking place during the last weeks, couldn't be any more on guard towards these kinds of situations.
The group of five dressed like military corps with black and yellow colours, and an elite group of combatants in the early and half stages of the Houtian Realm.
Whereas the other group consisted of people that dressed like corps that specialised in desert guerrilla… They had sand-like camouflage that made them look like an elite foreign team and they truly were. The three of them were at the peak of the Houtian Realm and it was clear they held the advantage against those other armed corps.
Eventually, the yellow corps were cornered and injured due to this drastic disadvantage.
"What a disappointment, but what else could be expected from the Tiger Team? Haha, the tiger can never defeat the Dragon... Yong Ye, I won't say it twice. We know your organisation made contact with Pluto the last few weeks, if you don't tell us everything… Forget about returning home tonight! Or perhaps you will return... Your head that is!" The leader of the group of guerrillas spoke Chinese with a distinctive English accent… Mocking and insulting the weaklings before them.
'Yong Ye' grits his teeth in powerlessness upon hearing his demands, this was China! "You can kill me if you want Sandstorm, but you won't hear a word from me! This is my China!" Even if he had to die, he wouldn't give out any information!
*BANG!*
"Hahahaha~ Who said anything about killing? You will feel so much pain, that all of you will be wailing for answers by the end of the day!" The man punched Yong Ye using his whole cultivation and the latter almost lost consciousness as he fell to the ground.
The rest of the group of corps couldn't believe this, it was their own home and turf yet they were so weak to do anything against this foreign group! They had already called for support to the Dragon Group, but maybe by the time they came... It would be too late!
…
"No need for torture… None of you will leave this place anyway."
…
It was then that the leader of this Sandstorm's squad finally looked up together with his team and the other corps.
To those red and piercing eyes that regarded them with disdain and the darkness that covered everything their eyes could see and also what they could not…
'W-What…' those were their raunchy thoughts, as... Slowly but surely, anguish filled their darkening hearts, what the hell is this!?
The leader of this sandstorm squad laughed lightly.
"Don't think that an illusion like this will work Yong Ye! Do you think I can't see through it?" The guerrilla's leader spoke with mock confidence, but his quivering clenched hands weren't hidden to anyone.
He couldn't 'see' beyond the illusion, but it could only be an illusion… It had to be!
"Hehehe~ It is funny how they don't accept reality, Master~. Humans are always like this, looking for a reasonable excuse, even going as far as to call us UFOs, as if that explanation was any more believable and optimistic~" around the dozens of eyes, yet many more eyes opened suddenly to look at them.
"You're back…"
"Yes, I finished what you asked of me Master, don't be angry anymore, please?" Alcina, who just got back from slaughtering a paramilitary group in Colombia - South America, asked her Master after not speaking with him for days…
She had missed him a lot, but after what happened last time, she didn't want to come before him until her mission was completed, surely only then would she be forgiven.
The two groups could only shake in fear as two malevolent voices spoke with each other totally disregarding the pieces of flesh before them…
The leader of the guerrilla glanced at Yong Ye slowly, with his body shaking slightly as the two demonic voices kept bantering and noticed the latter was deep in fear… He didn't know anything whatsoever about this 'illusion'!
Getting a sudden bravado from a place he didn't even know he had, he ordered the only thing they could ever hope to do!
"ATTACK!!"
He shouted and the shaking sandstorm group prepared to engage the shadows, maybe if they managed to leave this darkness, they would be able to escape whatever array this was! Their only hope was that if something ever happened, their devices would send the images to their organisations and they would get revenge...
It was nice of them to have such thoughts because that's exactly what happened the next second.
...
"AAAHHHGGG!!!"
"UGHHHH!!"
"H-HEL-AHHHGGGG!!"
…
Black lances protruded from most of the red eyes and impaled every single one of them from different places of her dying body.
…
After less than two minutes, the alleyway was left clean as two figures materialised from the shadows, as always in this situation, Alucard appeared in his girl form, studying the memories he just got.
Beside him another figure materialised, it was also a little girl, but a cute blonde with two braids, a white one-piece beautiful dress and a black wide-brimmed hat!
Her red eyes glance at her Master in this dark alleyway showing an allure and wickedness that shouldn't belong in the face of such an angel.
"You always kill them too fast, Master." She said, shrugging her shoulders.
"They are just common humans, no fun in playing with them…" Answered the thinking Nosferatu.
Ares, The God of War.
God Stone, Pluto.
Blue Storm - America.
The Strikers - America.
Yamata Sect - Japan.
Wingchun Sect - Japan.
Yellow Flame Iron Brigade - China.
Memories flowed within his mind like a falling river, most of them regarding secret military organisations in this world and their leaders.
To think these pieces of trash were subordinates of a God.
Alcina giggled upon seeing her Master standstill, she approached him and hugged 'him' from behind with a wide smile.
"Do you prefer the small me or the gigantic me~?" She asked, trying to take him out of his thoughts, she thought her master needed a rest. He supposedly came to this world for holidays, but resting is the least he has done.
But well, for him eating thousands of souls and drinking blood, equalled a few years of resting.
Alucard didn't answer the question, not really upset with her for peering on his memories. What he had been upset about was her bringing those memories back to the present.
Seeing that she didn't get pushed away, Alcina got bolder. She was never a woman to shy away from what she wanted, but also knew her limits.
Turning him around slowly her lips approached 'his' as she pecked him close to his lips but still not quite there. She didn't dare do that... Yet.
With a giggle, her body started to merge into his, 'I love you, Master~. Thank you for this new life!' Those were her last words as she merged completely into his shadow, the place she liked to reside in the most.
During the last few days, she had discovered the capability her powers provided her. And it was just like a dream come true! Due to her cultivation, her strength was outrageous and bullets didn't affect her. She could now see everything within three metres of her own body, still not really capable of materialising somewhere else or remaining incorporeal without breaching the border between that and being 'nowhere', something she was deeply scared of.
Morph her body into any appearance she wanted, move through walls, control people's minds! summon familiars and many more!
How can a race be so ridiculously advantaged!' Were her thoughts every time she put her powers into motion and discovered a new way to use them, or was taught something new by her Master.
Being thankful, wasn't enough to express how she felt! If she had these powers in the past, who could have possibly stopped her? Even Mother Miranda wasn't this strong! Even she in her current condition would be able to easily kill her and anyone of her previous subordinates!
...
Alucard sighed as she disappeared inside his body, she was still very innocent... With that thought, he disappeared as well, since she came back they now needed to visit a certain someone that would give her an identity. The hunting was over for the moment.
He decided to give the upcoming team a gift as he knew someone was coming to this location now.
Half an hour later, a team of corps would come here and be surprised to find nothing... Nothing except the heads of the yellow corps and sandstorm members!
But there was nothing else! No blood, no bodies, no dirt! Only the signs of gunshots and a skirmish!
An alluring woman with silver hair walked into the alleyway followed by another four members.
All of them were at the peak of the Houtian Realm.
"They're all dead, Flower Rain. We must go! both parties died, that means it is likely the 'Shadow Hound', the characteristics of the scene portray something like what they would usually do!" An older man spoke from behind her, fearing that if they stayed here longer, they would be the next ones!
But the woman only glanced at Yong Ye's head before putting her hands together, as if praying for his passing soul... Sadly, his soul wouldn't pass.
