The kiss didn't last long as a blushing Ruoxi hurriedly separated before reprimanding! "Did I get you a phone for decoration Vlad!? How come you haven't answered any of my texts!?"

"Oh..." Only now Alucard remembered he had such a gadget in his treasury...

'Ho? The girl grew a pair...' Alcina smirked at Ruoxi's actions, she could see how the poor CEO was trying to suppress her shaking and embarrassment at what she just did... The poor girl was trying hard to get out of her comfort zone!

Alucard took the bags to the Kitchen with the pair of Ruoxi and Yulan following behind him.

"I suddenly had a meeting regarding a European company whose ambassador came all the way to China to ally with us, have you heard of them? They're called GUCCI, they're very famous!" Lin Ruoxi happily told her about her day as they prepared for dinner, she didn't even mind the time, even if it was 1:00 am in the morning, she would make sure to entertain him properly!

What she brought with her were glutinous rice balls unexpectedly...

"I had to pay extra for them... the boss had already closed it and he was even asleep, but I wanted to eat those with you tonight..." She said and looked sideways with a slight blush.

He only stared at her with a wicked smile and she couldn't manage it!

"It's not like I wanted to eat them with you or anything!"

"... But you just said."

"I said nothing!"

"You didn't." The count sighed at this girl's hopelessness as they walked to the table to have their dinner.

Wang Yulan cooked a wide variety of hotpots and seafood appetizers, she really did her best.

During the whole meal, Ruoxi and Alucard did nothing but talk about each other's day and flirt blatantly in front of Wang Yulan...

In the middle of the meal, Wang Yulan excused herself, saying that she felt tired throughout the day, Lin Ruoxi nodded and thanked her for the day before looking at Alucard.

"It's too late now, you can stay in my house today Vlad, I don't want you to drive out there at this time, it's dangerous." She said, not accepting a no before looking back at Yulan, "Wang Ma, you don't need to worry about the room, Vlad and I will tidy it ourselves, you can go to sleep, it's been hard on you today."

"Wang Ma?" Ruoxi asked again.

The two continued talking on the main sofa of the living room as Alucard fed Ruoxi her glutinous balls, the latter felt that her hazardous day was worth it even if just for this moment.

*Gulp* "Vlad, how did your 'meeting' with that woman go..." The CEO who was now embracing Alucard's waist, finally asked what she had wanted to ask for the longest while.

"It went well, we discussed the alliance and everything, and she's very enthusiastic. Hermes' employees are also happy with it, so everything is well..." Alucard said simply and ate one glutinous rice himself.

"Really? Was that all that happened?" She asked as her gaze literally penetrated him...

"... And we kissed as well..." He added with a sidelong glance.

Seconds passed as Ruoxi's face became red and bloody!

"You! She! Wait, you!" Her head conflicted on who was to blame for all this, she wanted to blame Tang Wan but sadly, her rival wasn't present, hence, she took his collar and screamed in his face!

"Why are you telling me so casually? Aren't you supposed to hide that!?" Her chest heaved up and down as she screamed in outrage!

The count deadpanned, "... do you want me to hide it?"

'Women...'

"Yes! I mean no! Aren't men supposed to be liars who hide these things?" At least that's what her Korean Drama experience told her.

Well, she was right... But not Count Dracula.

"Hmph, those are scumbags, are you going to compare me with them?" He huffed and flushed her hands aside lightly.

"Are you telling me that you're not a scumbag?! How many women are you playing with!?" Her eyes almost teared at the fact that the marvellous experience she had the day prior, was something that her rival likely experienced today...

"Of course, I'm not... I don't 'play' with women Ruoxi." Saying that he pulled her body and held her chin, "You're totally conscious of my reality as is every single woman that I'm involved with... Yet you choose to stay, that's on you, not me∼" Having said that with a smile his lips sought hers, sealing her mouth from uttering any possible complaint, and mumbling her mind out of anything that was not the taste of his mouth.

'Y-You! H-How can I not accept if you do this...' It didn't take Ruoxi a second to start responding to the kiss with fierceness even going as far as to change her position and straddle his crotch.

"Hmhn!∼" after kissing for a few minutes in which the two fondled each other's bodies, she moaned as he grabbed her by her big rump. She instinctively crossed her legs around his waist, the action only increasing her lust by a notch as her tongue became fiercer.

A minute later they were in her room, Alucard placed Ruoxi softly on her bed as the latter pulled him on top of her, totally reluctant to leave his lips as her hands continued roaming his body.

Alucard was about to discard her top when suddenly, she pushed him away!

Ruoxi's eyes flashed with golden light for the briefest of moments before she regained clarity, "S-Sorry Vlad, I think we went too far... Please, give me more time, I'm not used to this kind of relationship." Her voice sounded honest and also apologetic, "I'm truly sorry, but... Not today, I'm also tired..."

Alucard looked at her and frowned for a moment before smiling, he hunched down and gave her a peck that she very much accepted, "I understand, you can rest now, you have to work tomorrow anyway."

"As for you, I will take you as well in due time∼" He whispered before standing up, much to her bewilderment.

The moment Alucard closed the room, Lin Ruoxi held her palpitating chest hard. That felt so good just now! She really wanted to continue but... Something inside her, maybe her instinct, told her that there was no need to rush things, yes, she needs to know him more before engaging in that kind of relationship.

It's for the best...

With how late it was, it didn't take long for her to fall asleep, tomorrow would be another day...
