A few dozen kilometres away yet another field of gravel and grass awaited its imminent destruction!

Alucard flew away at amazing speeds while holding a great God like a bag of rotten potatoes.

He intended to give Alcina some space, the latter wanted to test her powers and there was no better opponent than a god, would she be strong enough to defeat Hades? Who knows, but she can't die anyway, so he wasn't really worried about her end.

Just as he was thinking to throw the pesky pest of a War God, the crimson-haired man billowed with wrath while holding his hand tightly!

<War God's Wrath!>

The War God's body released crimson berserk energy! And under Alucard's impressed senses, his pressure nearly tripled!

Space shook as small cracks appeared here and there disturbing the ongoing storm!

Ares took Alucard's hand and clenched it to the point it got smashed inwards!

And then, with the wrath of thousands of warriors, he swung the count forth, launching him right to the ground with enormous strength!

Saying that Alucard got blasted to the ground like a rocket was an understatement, his body literally phased through space with a sonic boom as it nearly disintegrated into dust the moment it contacted the ground!

*BAAAAAAANNNNNGGGG!!!"

A crater the size of at least kilometres spread together with a massive shockwave that would reach the near cities and break glasses in its wake!

London, Bristol and Oxford's seismographs would ring like jingle bells announcing what took place here!

*BOOMMM!!*

The War God's scalding and burning body fell on the ground with destruction as he glanced at the crater, panting heavily.

This wasn't a technique he could use casually!

'Is he dead? I don't believe he survived this, but…'

"What are you waiting for? My corpse isn't there… So obviously I'm not dead. I'm sure you can do better, God of War."

Veins almost popped out of his head! That irritating voice!

Brandishing his spear with destructive spatial might together with fiery energy, kilometres upon kilometres of land were destroyed as Alucard's body that was right in front of him seemingly disintegrated due to the raw strength of this attack!

He would retrieve the god stone after getting rid of this damned monster!

Breathing roughly and looking around.

The raw destruction his attacks caused couldn't be hidden, appearing like a zone of volcanic activity!

Ares was already consumed, spanning world-ending attacks one after the other, it was creating a great toll on him… Hopefully, this attack killed him because else, he would have to retreat!

Looking around after a few minutes, he didn't see anything…

It seems he erased the bastard of existence. Just the way he wanted, if he was hiding somewhere and casting illusions then that attack should have killed him.

"HEHEHEHE~ DID YOU REALLY THINK, THERE WAS ANY HOPE?~"

However… that laughter shattered all of his hope... Moreover, this laughter… this voice… It was simply out of this world! It was a slow voice, the voice of something massive speaking.

The world seemingly stopped as the storm just cleared, the clouds visibly moved as the darkness spread forth.

For the briefest of seconds, the moonlight shone in front of him together with his shadow, but then, instantly, the moonlight disappeared…

As if something gigantic stood between the moon and himself… Something so big, it was big enough to cover the moon.

The God of War turned around and got highly compelled to just release his War God Spear as his countenance paled in despair, his berserk energy still burning, but not as strong, not as vigorous.

"What are you… Just what are you!?"

Before him sat a gigantic hound… No, a colossal hound!

It had to be four hundred metres at least! AT LEAST! His massive figure covered the moon but the red eyes on its body shone just as bright!

Especially the massive red slit one in its chest area!

The darkness miasma seeped around as the beast looked down on him with his two eyes… One red, the other pink…

"YOU NEEDN'T KNOW WHO I AM, BUT I KNOW… YOU'RE MY DOG'S SHIT!"

Out of nowhere, darkness encroached the whole ten kilometres into a dark sphere where nothing could be seen except those red eyes!

"WAIL FOR ME, ARES!"

Hundreds of spears came from every place, seeking to impale the life out of the War God!

*BLINK!!* Ares' despaired face blurred as he prepared to launch an attack at this dark barrier!

Hundreds of spears passed by him injuring his body in the process!

He had to flee! Only now he realised he had to flee!

<REQUIEM OF THE WARLORD!>

Unleashing a great attack at the barriers a massive explosion spread through the darkest and the light within this dome of perdition only served to increase his despair… Shadow spears, hundreds of hounds and corpses all looking at him from underneath!

Together with that massive hound!

*BOOOMMMM!!!*

After a long journey, the berserk energy of his attack finally clashed with the barrier!

But it only managed to create a small hole, through which he could see that there were four layers of darkness to this barrier!

His body blinked and evaded more darkness lances, seeking some respite and hope but…

The darkness repaired itself faster than he could actually fly!

Within the darkness…

The last thing he felt were hundreds of small needless piercings all over his body… Limbs, torso, head, eyes…

The last thing he saw was a horrendous smiling jaw with rows of teeth… Each bigger than his own body, as two shining eyes of different colours, glanced at him with apparent mock and disdain, ready to open and swallow him whole.

The last thing he heard was those accursed words…

'DID YOU REALLY THINK… THERE WOULD BE ANY HOPE?~'

And lastly... The last thing his mouth uttered, were those despaired wails that kept feeding this horrendous beast's ego and bloodthirstiness.
