Alucard put the glass of wine on the table and crossed his legs, he looked deeply to the front, to the window.

It was a bright day with a clear sky.

He lifted his hand to take a sip of wine.

His phone rang as he was about to take the sip, taking his view from the window.

He chuckled and took the phone.

"Hello Wan, how have you been?"

Lin Ruoxi who had been working all the time perked the moment she heard 'Wan'.

How could she not know who it was!?

"I had some free time as of late and wanted to talk to you Vlad, I'm taking my daughter home and then back to the office." Tang Wan who had just picked up her daughter from High school drove her Land Rover home.

"You're so dedicated, you do it yourself to spend some time with her, right?" Alucard said softly, she had that much money, surely she could hire someone to take care of that and spend more time in her company, but she still attended to her daughter properly.

"Ah? Yes! It's just the two of us, and she doesn't have a father..." Well, she has... But she doesn't consider him a father... Most businessmen begrudged this behaviour, stating that she could be more productive if she delegated her motherly responsibilities to someone else, but she believed that was wrong.

"That's very lovely of you Wan, I hope I can meet her one day." He stated and that produced a smile on Tang Wan's face but a flinch from Lin Ruoxi.

"I'd love that, would you like our date to be at my house instead? I could prepare something wonderful for you."

"That would be perfect, I'll be there tomorrow."

"Vlad, I'm done, they're waiting for us at the conference room." Lin Ruoxi exclaimed loud enough for even Tang Wan to hear.

"I see that you're with CEO Lin." She said with a cold tonality as if their warm atmosphere before was a dream.

"Yes, we will have a press conference in a moment, I have to hang up Wan. How about this? I'll pick you up tomorrow; we can then go for your daughter and have our dinner." He knew she would usually pick up her daughter and then go back to the office.

"Wonderful!, I'll be waiting for you!" Tang Wan technically chirped at his suggestion and hung up, trying to get everything done so that she could skip the office tomorrow evening.

Alucard stored his phone only for his gaze to meet Lin Ruoxi's cold one.

"Is there anything wrong, Ruoxi?" He snickered and stood up, glancing through the window slightly, he noticed it was almost dusk.

Wasn't the sky clear a second ago? could it be?

'Again...' He mumbled.

"Nothing... It's just that I see you're getting too intimate with CEO Wan, she's a businesswoman that's merciless on the field, if you give her the chance, she will swallow you whole." She didn't shy from slandering the competition!

"Are you jealous Ruoxi~?" The two got in the elevator and the latter huffed at his claim.

Alucard saw her slender figure and couldn't help but be captivated. There was something about her, other than that bombshell figure of hers and that pretty neck, that called him in.

The CEO blushed and looked at him deeply, she loved when he was bold like this instead of shy and restrained.

"You! If they see us that like this... rumours are going to start spreading!"

"Let them create those rumours, it's more beneficial for us no? Gives us more attention~ the CEO of Yulei and Hermes' Chairman, lovers in the secret, don't you think that would be a nice stellar page?" His breath caressed her pretty neck and Alucard's eyes turned red.

"Vlad, we can't..." her heart palpitated faster and faster.

"Why can't we Ruoxi?" Alucard smirked and his fingers traced her neck gently, licking one of his fangs, Athena's blood was tempting.

"B-Because we just met not too long a-and also, you have a girlfriend already." This really made her depressed, she could by now begrudgingly admit she had a crush on this man, but the obstacles were just too many.

"But what if I want you?" He tested the waters, she wasn't Catherine, the latter seemed not to care about him having many partners as long as he married only her, but Lin Ruoxi was different.

How wrong he was, his two draculines were already planning how to slaughter the competition.
