Rose began to explain, "My clan among the witches once used to be the strongest and most popular. In fact, my parents were leaders, and we were highly respected. But you see, my father committed the taboo of killing another witch out of spite."
"This was highly prohibited and unacceptable in our society, so of course my father was condemned and hated. We were deemed murderers, including my mother and everyone related to us."
She continued, "My father really didn't kill out of spite. He killed those men because he found out that they had nearly sexually abused me. I tried to stop him from killing them because I knew what the consequences would be, but my father didn't listen to me. These men were nobles after all."
"My father told me before he died that he does not regret what he did and that if there was a second chance, he would do it again. My mother agreed with him."
