Victor blinked his eyes and took deep breaths, finally getting a bit of control of his body.

 

He slowly turned his head and glanced at the window.

 

"MUM!!!" He shouted, and before long, his mother rushed into the room with a worried look on her face.

 

"Son! Are you okay? Is everything alright with you?!!" She asked and ran towards him.

 

She placed her hand on his forehead and checked his temperature.

 

"Your fever is high, and you are sweating profusely." She said and quickly picked up the phone to call the family doctor.

 

"Mum," Victor called her.

"Can you tighten the security?" He inquired.

 

"Hmm? Isn't the one we have enough?" Mrs. Yeager asked in a bit of confusion.

"I see…" She nodded and half smiled at him. "I will do just that." She assured him.
