Are You Okay?

"I don't want to talk about it." Daphne shook her head, a frown settling on her face.

Noticing this, Valerio furrowed his brows, very sure that something was amiss.

"Then... will you tell me later when you want to talk about it?" He asked.

Daphne glanced at him and slightly nodded her head. "Yes."

"Alright, that is fine." Valerio shrugged.

Daphne flickered her eyes and balled her small hands into fists. "Why do you suddenly ask? Is everything…okay?" She inquired.

"Yes, everything is fine. Do you…want to go to the mall? I will get you whatever you want. Clothes, shoes, anything," Valerio half smiled at her as he said.

At the sound of this, Daphne's eyes grew wide, and the pessimistic look on her face disappeared, replaced by excitement.

"Yes, yes!" She furiously nodded her head.

Valerio stood up from the swing and reached out his hand. "Let's go."
