"Open the personal interface!" Alex silently commanded within himself. The process was familiar, even though the interface now responded to his thoughts. rather than using his fingers.
A translucent panel materialized before him, displaying his updated information.
Name: Alex
Intelligence: 14 (Average adult is 10 points)
Strength: 10 (Average adult is 10 points)
Agility: 10 (Average adult is 10 points)
Class: Student Level 4 (0/500)

Elementary School Knowledge (Master 53/60)
Experience Bar: 191
Not wasting any time, Alex immediately began allocating his experience points.
[7 Experience Bars consumed, Elementary Knowledge Skill (Master 0/150), 184 Experience points remaining.]
[150 Experience Bars consumed, Elementary Knowledge Skill (Perfection), 34 Experience points remaining.]
In a flash, a vast amount of knowledge flooded into Alex's mind. He absorbed 528 words, 126 poems, and a wealth of elementary school knowledge, including 800 English vocabulary words, 198 grammar points, basic transcriptions, spelling, sentence structure, figure of speech, tenses, and various other subjects like General Knowledge, chemistry, physics, physical education, economics, history, social science, Painting, Music, Calligraphy, Mathematics, Arithmetic, Computing, Health, and Logic.
The abundance of knowledge left Alex in awe. He had absorbed at least ten times more information than he previously had. It was an incredible boost to his understanding and capabilities.
"I never imagined that elementary school textbooks held so much knowledge!" Alex marveled at the system's power.
Now equipped with an extensive foundation, Alex felt confident in his abilities. If he were to take the college entrance examination now, he was certain his results would surpass his previous score of 280.
Chemistry 30
Physics 30
Mathematics 60
English 10
Computer Science 100
Art 80.
Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics exams were combined together and were worth a total of 400 marks,
English and Art 200 marks, and Computer Science 100 marks.
Yes, he got full marks in Computer Science because no one could beat him in terms of knowledge about programming and other things, but no one in the school knew about it. They just assumed that Alex was lucky enough to get full marks with the help of a kind teacher.
With Chemistry as his current focus, Alex picked up his Second Year textbook and reviewed the content. Much to his surprise, he found it to be too simple. The Third Year textbook he had already memorized covered most of the Second Year material, making his revision process a breeze.
With an Intelligence score of 14, Alex absorbed three chemistry concepts per minute, swiftly reacquainting himself with the subject matter.
As he studied, memories of his parents and their hopes for him flooded his mind. Determined not to disappoint them, Alex's resolve grew stronger.
Unbeknownst to Alex, Arnold, who overheard his determination to get into university, approached his desk with a surprised expression.
"Alex, are you serious? You only scored 280 in the mock exam. Do you really think you can get into university?" Arnold's face twisted into a sneer.
Alex remained undeterred, responding with unwavering confidence. "Arnold, please don't distract me from my studies. My current score may be 280, but by the time the college entrance examination arrives, I will have improved significantly. I have what it takes to get into university."
Arnold burst into laughter, mocking Alex's aspirations. "You're delusional, Alex. You scored a mere 30 in Chemistry. What university do you think will accept you? Don't waste your time."
Unfazed by Arnold's ridicule, Alex replied calmly, "Arnold, it's not up to you to decide my fate. I will prove you wrong."
Arnold's laughter intensified, but underneath his bravado, a flicker of fear danced in his eyes. He realized there was something different about Alex, a determination he hadn't seen before.
"Alex, everything is possible if you dare to dream. But I wish you luck in your daydream," Arnold sneered, trying to regain control of the situation.
Alex's gaze remained steady, his voice firm. "I don't need luck, Arnold. I have the drive and the ability to achieve my goals. You'll see."
Arnold couldn't help but feel a twinge of uncertainty. He was used to belittling and mocking Alex, but this time, there was a fire in his words that made him pause. He decided to take one final jab.
"You don't have to wait for the college entrance examination to realize who you really are, Alex. Your next monthly exam is just around the corner, and I guarantee you won't even reach 200 marks. Getting into university is simply a pipe dream," Arnold declared with contempt.
Though the other students remained silent, many shared Arnold's skepticism. Given Alex's academic history, it seemed impossible for him to make such a drastic improvement in such a short time.
But Alex remained unfazed. He understood that actions spoke louder than words. He needed to prove himself through his dedication and hard work.
Taking back the Chemistry textbook from Arnold's grip, Alex turned his attention back to his studies.
