A Thousand Worlds

A not so average life ends, and a second one begins. A chance to redeem? Nahhhhhh, a chance to live out dreams would be a more apt description! But as with all, a simple man living out his dreams isn't quite the best of the best, nor the most of entertaining. A chat group (a certainly peculiar one) has been thrown into the mix as well. ==== Find extra chapters at: p@treon.com/stoned_face

Tokyo, Japan,

Shibuya,

Samuel POV,

The Hayes Residence was relatively quiet today, as compared to how hectic it was usually (Courtesy of Mei). Outside the house itself, a silver haired teenager was sitting on a motorbike, rubbing his chin in thought with his eyes closed. The katana over his shoulder was something he had no personal experience in using, though, "Treating it as an extension of my arm.."

That would work, he was after all, a swordsman as well.

'Just do it, being spiteful is a human thing to do.' Echidna encouraged his current thoughts, of course she wasn't reading them... They were simply predictions based on what she knew of him.

Earlier, Samuel had sent Rin inside and told her that he'd be home later only for Mei to cut his plans short and tell him to wait for a few minutes.

He ran his gaze over the windows to see a small head poking out of one of them, staring at him silently.. The child quickly ducked, attempting to hide herself which in turn, made Samuel smile slightly.

Things like these were what made attempting improvement worth it.

The front door was thrown open stopping Samuel's thoughts and Mei walked out hurriedly, a cheery smile on her face as she waved her hand at him, "Thanks for waiting."

"...No problem.." Confusion flashed across the teenager's eyes, did she want him to take her somewhere? Did she have an errand to run?

"I won't ask you where you're going. Just be safe." She patted his shoulder holding out a small box, having the food all prepped really did help on such occasions.

"I um, what's-.."

"Your lunch." Mei cut him off, she would much prefer if he just ate at home but clearly, her son had something to do. She was his mother first and foremost, as such she knew full well that Samuel (even if it wasn't visible) was somewhat annoyed at the moment.

"I'd just eat out." Samuel waved his hand with a small awkward smile, this woman was really something sometimes.

"So you won't eat Mom's homemade cooking?" The older woman sulked, she'd prepared it with love and goodness and love and some more love... She was oblivious to her own train of thought.

Samuel quickly shook his head, "No, no, thank you." He took the box in his hands before slightly bowing his head, "Thank you again."

"Umu, now don't get into fights." Mei lightly bumped his shoulder, "If you do, beat em up. Mom will deal with the consequences." A small fire lit up in her eyes before she grabbed her hand in slight pain, "Ow..."

The hand she bumped Samuel with slightly turned red, "You're too muscly." With a small complain, purely out of fun, she waved the teenager goodbye as he drove off down the street.

Once Mei was certain that her son had left, she slightly winced in pain, a hand on her head, "Should I see a doctor?"

As much as she wanted to deny it, looking at Samuel was giving her small headaches... Why? How was such a thing even possible?.... Mei decided to consult her younger sister about it.

Same Area,

Samuel drove down the road with a strange expression on his face, "We're doing it." He had been thinking about it for a while now and, truly, he truly did not like the way he was just let off from that school. A bit of payback, he desired a bit of payback.

Samuel would make sure not to harm anyone, he would have Koharu pay in another way.

'Hm hm, you have my support, my dear contractor.' This would be a very enjoyable endeavour for the Witch, she could also see the full extent of his sword intent... It wasn't quite something she was unfamiliar with. The Sword Saints used it and she was certain Samuel could too, his body adapted and reconfigured itself when in her world too after all.

A bit of commotion was caused everywhere he passed and no, not because of his appearance. It was because of the speed at which the teenager was driving, narrowly avoiding both vehicles and people as he drove through the city.

Samuel, for now, planned on simply driving around Tokyo, taking in the sights until night came.

Then, he could do what he wanted to.

A Good Few Hours Later,

Tokyo, Japan,

Aichi Academy,

??? POV,

The sun had long set, some students had returned to their homes while others had returned to their dorms. Studying, talking with their roommates, playing or whatever they wished to do. It was the usual, a normal day, naturally they did not expect what was about to happen.

Earlier today, Satori Tamaba of the Supreme Five Swords had returned to the school as well and was greatly disappointed to see that her target had left. Similarly, Warabi Hanasaka had also arrived; however, different from the others, she refused to believe that someone who had come from prison would take expulsion that lightly.

As such, the blonde girl that looked far younger was more displeased than disappointed. Had he stayed, she would have been able to come up with something to stomp the rebellious nature out of Samuel.

"Still, it simply does not sit right.." Warabi muttered out, biting her nails as she walked outside the school campus. She had been in her room but a certain gut feeling told her that something was going to go wrong and so, she went for a walk.

Warabi was petite and short, looking far younger than she was in actuality and had long blonde hair with a ribbon worn over them, she wore a cape over her shirt, white one side, pink on the other, and knee length silver boots.

The rhythmic tapping of her feet was suddenly drowned out by an engine revving in the distance.

"Hold it Kyobo." Warabi held up her hand, stopping the large grizzly bear that was following her. The creature tilted it's head in slight confusion, ferocity radiating off it's very figure. It had brown fur and two cross shaped scars on it's chest, wearing a spiked red collar.

She could see someone coming down the road at immense speeds and sensing danger, reached for the katana by her left, was it him?

Soon enough, the source of the noise neared her, eventually coming to a halt some distance off.

"Hyo... Hyo hyo hyo!" Warabi started laughing with a hand over her stomach, what was this? A man dressed in black clothes with a facemask had arrived on a motorcycle.. Was it one of those predators or rapists or something? Then, she didn't need to hold back at all.

Warabi drew her sword, holding up three shuriken in her left hand with a small grin. Kyobo growled, standing on two feet with it's front legs raised like arms. An impressive feat considering Kyobo was a grizzly bear.

The stranger in question let out a small sigh, stepping off his bike with a calm and expressionless face. The facemask did more than enough to hide his identity from strangers, white or silver hair wasn't exactly a completely unknown thing in this world, even Tsukuyo had white hair after all.

The stranger in question was Samuel, of course it was. Who else would it be? Besides, the facemask was just a sort of courtesy just in case, even if they did point fingers at him for what he was about to do... it would bite this place's founders themselves.

'An investigation would happen. The purpose and system here isn't quite legally acceptable. I'm surprised it took you this long to do this, you're not exactly stupid.' Echidna giggled, moving when one's own success was practically guaranteed was a good trait to have.

"Won't you give me your name at least?" Warabi smirked at him, she would definitely make him regret coming here of all places.

Samuel, in response, silently took off the sword (along with the hilt) and stared at her for a few moments.

"You're not going to say anything? That is fine with me." She nodded, eying the sword with a thoughtful look on her face, if her opponent was a martial artist then it wouldn't do well to underestimate him.

Warabi's opponent took one step forward, instantly closing the distance between them and appeared between her and the bear. "Wha-..?!" With two swift strikes before both could react, Samuel knocked them out instantly, deeming it counterproductive to draw out the fight considering he was here for a certain purpose.

He held both the girl and the animal in either arm, carefully placing them both on the ground such that the fall did not cause any damages.

'Serious you is a sight.' Echidna remarked playfully, she doubted there was much in this world that could actually stand against him when Samuel was serious and this was simply a testament to that. He had literally knocked out one of the five strongest people in this academy and a bear in an instant.

"I hope they aren't hurt." Samuel slightly bowed his head in apology to the knocked out individuals before turning towards the school.

Slightly bending his knees, he placed a hand on the hilt of his blade.

How much damage do you think it's gonna cause?

FYI, his skill is reaching the realms of GoH, his prowess in martial arts is essentially one of his 'cheats'.
