2 Chapter 1 High School (Part 1)

A bright and sunny day, at a big house you could see a young man eating breakfast by himself.

That young man is Heil Kester, a son of two doctors. He seems to be getting ready to go to school.

He finished eating breakfast and stood up. Took his bag and opened the door to leave. He locked the door, then opened his bag to look for his cellphone. He texted his parents that he left to go to school.

Heil Kester is 11 years old now and is a 1st year junior high school student. He goes to a private school that is near his house. While he was walking a girl approached him and said "Heily, let's go to school together!"

Heil just ignored her and continued walking. The girl smiled and just walked beside him. After a short while, they could finally see the entrance of the school. At the entrance there was a boy that seemed to be waiting. Heil smiled and walked towards the boy. The girl walking beside Heil pouted but still followed him.

"Hey, Zack! I thought you didn't pass the entrance exams here!" Heil said excitedly at the boy named Zack. "I wanted to surprise you guys! So I said I didn't pass the entrance exams here and went to another school. Uhm, Ruby why do you seem irritated when you see my face?" Zack said while looking at Heil and the girl beside Heil that is looking really irritated.

"I don't know Zack? Because maybe Heil talked to you but still isn't willing to talk to me? You must have said bad things about me behind my back." The girl named Ruby said while glaring at Zack.

"Ruby, stop blaming Zack. You know that I just hate girls. So stop bothering me and Zack." Heil said looking coldly at Ruby. "No, I won't stop bothering you. I even learned playing that game just to get your attention." Ruby said to Heil. Heil looked at Ruby and just sighed and walked inside the school.

While they were walking they asked their sections. Heil is at 1-S class, Ruby is at 1-B class while Zack got into the lowest class which was 1-E.

Heil got into the highest class because his scores at the entrance exams were high.

They were sad because they weren't classmates but still was happy they could still see each other.

It seemed that it was early because only few students are at school. Freshmen were required to go to the auditorium for a freshmen welcome ceremony. So Zack, Heil and Ruby went there. Teachers were waiting inside the auditorium to bring them towards their sit. Students have to tell their name first and show their ID before they could enter.

Heil was stopped by one of the teacher because the teacher said that he was the student to have the freshman speech. Heil was shocked because he wasn't informed of this and just said goodbye to the two people accompanying him earlier.

The teacher took Heil to the backstage and said that he can say anything he want. Although, he should be careful of his words.

Heil waited for a while until he heard 'This year we have a student who had a perfect scored at the entrance exam and he will be giving the freshman speech this morning. Please give Heil Kester a round of applause.'

Heil went to the stage and students clapped. After the clapping ended Heil started speaking.

'My name Heil Kester and I would like to thank the principal for his wonderful speech earlier. I would also like to thank him for giving me this wonderful honor to give this speech to all of you. I don't know what to say because I wasn't informed that I was giving this speech but I hope you would listen. I am a Challenger. We are all challengers. I may be the one giving speech today but who knows maybe I will not be the best student. I say we are challengers because we challenge ourselves to a new thing every day. As we start this high school life we challenge ourselves towards the challenges that come in our way. We only have two choices. That is to keep moving forward and accept the challenge. Or give up and lose everything. I don't know all of your lived but I say this. A person should not give up, he or she may fail and fail but that is what life is. Without failure or downfall a person cannot grow. If a person hasn't failed his/her whole life then the downfall will be great. But if a person usually fails then a success will bring a big smile to him or her. So don't be afraid to fail. Don't give up because of failure and challenge yourself further from your limits. That is all, thank you'

A round of applause were heard after Heil finished his speech. He went back to the backstage and the teacher guided him to his classroom after the ceremony.

Classes were boring for Heil because he usually knows everything because he studied every time at summer. Classes end and the time was 3:30pm. Heil walked towards the exit and saw Zack and Ruby waiting for him.

Zack and Ruby saw Heil saw they walk towards him. When the distance was near, Zack said "Wanna play dota 2? We three could play a normal match since Ruby now knows how to play."

Heil just nodded and they went to a near internet cafe. They asked the owner to play for an hour. So the owner took them to a open spot.

They opened the dota 2 and opened their account. Heil was hesitating about the account he was about to login. Then, he thought about it and used it. It seemed he is not using his main account.

"You changed account once again, Heil? Why would you change your account again? Isn't the one you usually use at Ancient?" Zack said to Heil and Ruby was confused because she was a newbie and didn't know what Ancient is.

"I created a new one at summer and made it for you. Because your rank is only at Archon." Heil said and Ruby is getting irritated because she can't join the conversation.

"Well, let's play. Give me your ID numbers." Heil said to the two of them.

The two nodded and gave him their id numbers. After that they find a match.

After a minute, a match was found and it was now hero selection.

Everybody picked their heroes and Heil picked last. Zack is using Shadow Fiend, Ruby was using Queen of Pain, the other two was using Juggernaut and Slark. Heil sighed and picked Shadow Shaman. He wanted to use Keeper of the Light but used Shadow Shaman instead because it is a much more viable choice. Their enemy was Puck, Sven, Huskar, Bristleback and Phantom Assassin.

The game started and Heil already is hating this because it was such a low rank match. He still went on to play. He went bottom with juggernaut. His voice chat was on because he wanted to make sure that he could say that he was ready for a kill.

The game started with both teams getting two bounty runes. Bounty Runes give gold to the team. The Laning Phase started. Juggernaut keep hitting creeps not knowing how to control them. (Controlling the creeps is when you only last hit and deny your own creeps so that your creeps will not stop the creep equilibrium or killing them quickly so you could push. At early stages you should control your creeps to not push so you could prevent ganks from enemy or push the tower that will make it hard for you to farm creeps. Creep Equilibrium basically refers to the point in the lane where the radiant and dire creeps are hitting each other.)

Heil saw this and sighed. He just attacked enemy at a spot where creeps will not aggro him. (Creeps has a aggro range. Right clicking enemy will activate it. You could use skill and it will now activate the agro unless you are the only enemy for them to attack.)

After a while it was 00:42 so Heil went to the small jungle creeps to safe pull. (Pulling is when you use the jungle creeps to drag your ally creeps away from pushing. Safe Pulling is stacking the jungle creeps first so that the jungle creeps could kill the laning creeps. Stacking is the process of drawing neutral creeps away from their camps in order to increase the number of units in an area. Generally, neutral creeps will spawn in the first minute of the game and at every minute thereafter. So 1:00, 2:00, 3:00 etc.)

After a while, the creeps was stacked and Heil pulled the creeps. At minute 2:00 Heil went to get bounty runes. He got them both at the bottom lane. At minute 2:08 first blood was drawn. It seemed like Ruby's Queen of Pain was killed. Ruby was irritated but didn't want to show it to Heil.

Heil still has 4 wards and him so he proceeded to ward every nice spot for the team. 2 for defensive reasons and 2 for offensive reasons. He didn't ward earlier because he thought it wasn't neccessary. As it follows at top the lanes was getting pushed by the enemy creeps and the two heroes Phantom Assassin and Sven. Since Juggernaut could still hold on at bottom. Heil used his TP scroll to go to top.

(Warding is when you use the Observer or Sentry wards for reasons. Observer ward is to gain more vision. While sentry is to gain true sight effect. TP Scroll or Town Portal Scroll is used to travel to a tower quickly)

Heil hid and said "Ruby when I say go use blink and fight, okay?" Ruby nodded. Heil used glyph of fortification when he noticed that it was the right timing then walked towards the enemy and used his third skill Shackle at Sven and said to Ruby "Go, Blink then use Scream of Pain." Ruby did it and his other teammate Slark saw this opportunity to use Slark's skill pounce. The enemy Phantom Assassin just ran away. After a few seconds Sven died because Queen's scream of pain finished of the creeps and the tower was hitting Sven. Queen got the last hit and Ruby was happy. (The Glyph of Fortification (or Glyph in short) is an ability usable by any player that causes all friendly buildings and lane creeps to become impervious to damage for a short duration.)

Heil sighed then hear an announcent. It was that Shadow Fiend killed Puck and Juggernaut died. Heil just sighed again.

This will be a really annoying game for him.
