If the stars shine and float in space with thousands of wishes. Will come true once.

I just want to pray to stay with that "him." forever.

The sound of the engine rang out from the road in front of the old mansion until the black and white two-seater Maserati Gran Turismo supercar stopped by the marble staircase in the foyer leading deeper into the house.

Although it is midnight, the sumptuous living room, decorated with precious antiques, is a sign of its owner's status, the crystal chandelier still emits a soft light. The thin body is dressed in a wrinkled school uniform, the smell of tobacco and alcohol still on the feet and the eyes move to the mother sitting on a fine Louis sofa stitched with gold thread.

Mrs Lalita Sopasitsakul, wife of the former deputy army commander, looked at her youngest son, who is far from his older sibling's age and now looks very tired.

"Tian." is an auspicious name, meaning sage/ philosopher? He is now in a state not dissimilar to a rich trashman. He has a long, stylish haircut dyed red, a handsome face like his mother's and an even whiter complexion.

Yes, it is white. As pale as a sick man.

The third son of a formerly powerful military officer's family, lifts his hair, revealing long, thin, bored eyes.

"Mum, why are you still awake?" A voice made hoarse by alcohol.

"Mum's waiting for you, why are you so late? Son." His mum is over fifty years old but still elegant in her nightdress. She stood up and approached her little son, who was getting thinner and thinner.

The thick eyebrows give definition to his features, the thin, pale lips twitch and smiling as if in pity for herself, she said: "Mamma was worried when she arrived home today and wanted to wait for me back in the middle of the night was she? You must be as tired as you are now."

He's not being sarcastic, he's telling the truth, even if he has a perfect exterior that others envy, inside he's an endless black hole.

General Teerayut and Madame Lalita were keen to participate in charity events, always donating money in return for fame and their pictures would be published in the newspapers. Following in his father's footsteps, his eldest brother was also an army officer, he won a scholarship, went abroad to study military studies and met his beloved wife. As for his second daughter, she became a high-flying beauty and was married and divorced by no less than three husbands but nevertheless had a certain status in society.

And what about him? A forgotten young son, almost ten years younger than his older siblings, who only knows the meaningless craft of toy-making. Although he studied hard to make his parents proud and got into the top ranked university in the country.

But in the end, what a reward!

Tian clenched his fists and when he felt anxious, his chest ached like a pile of stones squeezing against it. He took a deep breath, trying to ease the increased pain in his chest. But he pretends not to care, the mother looks as if she is about to cry and watches her son walk down the stairs into the bedroom.

Lalita's eyes were red as she watched her son, who should have been a happy child living without worries, turn into this in just two years.

Since receiving the bad news of his illness, Tian had become a misanthrope, had given up everything in his life and this was more than his mother could bear.

"Child! Why must you hurt yourself like this!" She rushed forward and grabbed her son's bony wrist.

"Who said you were going to die, believe me," said the sweet voice with a shudder. She knew she was lying, no one could prove that the disease could be cured, not even the best doctors at home or abroad.

Tian turned around immediately. His pale, broken face with a hint of distortion, it was as if the whole world would collapse." So, what do you want me to do? Laugh at it? I'm not mad yet, Mum, I'll die and that's it!"

Yes, Mr. Tian Sopasitsakul, an engineering student, born with a golden spoon, had a bright future ahead of him. But he's going to die!

Back in the second semester of his freshman year, after his final exams, he and his friends played soccer at school to relieve the stress but during the game he found himself easily exhausted, an unusual cold sweat broke out on his face and he had trouble breathing. His heart felt like it was being squeezed hard by something, the pain increased, his body shook like a drifting leaf and he eventually lost consciousness.

No one expected this to be the worst possible turn of events.

The inflammation of his heart muscle was caused by a childhood influenza virus and led to a thickening of the pericardium. The pericardium was not elastic enough to hold the blood to allow the body to function properly without surgery this would have led to heart failure.

Heart transplantation. But finding an organ from a histocompatible donor is more difficult than resuscitation.

For over two years, Tian's hopes were completely extinguished, even though the power of money would have put his name at the top of the recipient list. Contrary to the 18-year-old boy who was so full of life, he became a man full of resentment and hatred for an unfair world.

Tian began to live a life of unprecedented debauchery, spending his days drinking, joining a gang of tunnel drivers and causing trouble, even being labelled a scumbag but he laughed at this with satisfaction.

When he is unhappy, others must not be!

Once bright and slender eyes now began to redden, Tian shouted "Mum, leave me alone!"

He uses his mother's grip on his wrist, his chubby body in lace pyjamas rolls down the stairs, Madame Lalita cries out in pain, clutching her ankle, as he turns around. He rushed down to help his mother.

"Mamma! Mum! What's wrong?" the guilt hit him, making his heart rate irregular. But he didn't care about the chest pains that began to spread to the nerves in his arms.

General Teerayut, who had already gone to bed, woke up in the middle of the night because of the growing noise and rushed out to see his young son holding his mother on the floor and calling for help.

"Dad, help, Mum has fallen down the stairs and hurt her leg!" Tian shouted to his father who was standing on the stairs with a shocked look on his face.

What shocked the retired officer more than the image of his wife falling down the stairs was that his son's face, which had been smooth and white was turning green, the hand holding his mother's arm was trembling, what an effort it took to overcome the pain!

General Teerayut did not hesitate, he called the hospital.

Now it was Mrs Lalita who had to help Tian, because Tian suddenly collapsed. As he closes his eyes, his face still contorted by the great torment and his thin hands clutching the left breast of his school uniform, his mother's heart breaks at the sight.

The last words she heard her son whisper before he lost consciousness were: Goodbye Mum.
