New world problems

It was high noon on a high steel platform there were 5 people 2 being kids and 3 adults with ropes around they're necks all wrapped around a single beam with 5 men in hoods gripping levers with one person in Black and gold robe with a wooden staff looking over a crowd. "welcome ladies and gentlemen today we have 5 traitors who dared to try and sell low quality enchanted items as high class merchandise to our military for this act the king has ordered them to be an example of what happens to scamming merchants?!?! " he exclaimed, as the crowd cheered in excitement the men get ready to pull the levers.

But that's when a portal opens and 3 blurs crash down with one crashing through the beam and the other crashing into one of the executioners down into the platform and the other falling but flipping landing on his feet as he skits forward to halt reveal and the person is Jack Graves who takes a few breaths before looking around at where he was at. "Well this is quite unlucky I apologize for interrupting this...bloody fun event of yours" he said, looking at the overseer who looked shocked "w-who the hell are you!? are you here to save these criminals?"he asked, pointing accusingly as Jack looked back at the merchant family for a second before shaking his head" I'm sorry but you have me missed up for someone no something else I don't do heroics so can I just leave sir?"he asked, which had the man more shocked but he regained his composure as 10 people flashed around him with blade with special runes that he couldn't understand glowing on they're swords.

"unfortunately since you dared to interrupt an important event you shall be cut down" the man said, before looking back at the audience "I'm sorry say but this may get too dangerous to observe please continue about your day!"he yelled, as the people disappointedly obeyed going away to do whatever business they had meanwhile Jack was looking at his opponents gear," so much for peacefully regrouping this world is definitely different" jack said, as someone jumped up behind his back giving off a toxic presence that made the overseer and the other executioners have a shiver and the family off merchants turn pale and pass out. "My my jack looks like we're in a bind wanna kill them or are you gonna let me have all the fun?" Minerva half asked, smiling at the reactions of the people around them."I'm a gentleman not a pacifist I'm surprised your presence is so toxic the fact no one here has dropped dead is a miracle"Jack said, pulling out 8 knives 4 in each hand readying to fight the slightly shook soldiers "well obviously it's because I'm holding back though I wonder where Liam went she's going to miss the party" Minerva said, opening her fans as the soldiers ran up at them about to bring down they're blades.

Liam got up kicking away the broken body of the executioner before dusting herself off, "great it seems we interrupted some type of execution which is unfortunate because we're gonna seem like some heroes and I hate heroes"she said, pulling out her blade as 12 soldiers surrounded her from all sides but before they could do anything Liam pulled out 2 bombs from her backpack clicked a button on them before throwing them at both parties as it blew up sending them flying with enough explosive force to break they're armor and send them sprawling killing them. "Easy as that now I have to regroup with those 2 and look like heroes or terrorists" she said, before sprinting to the execution platform.

back on the platform Jack and Minerva made quick work of the soldiers 5 with knives in they're neck as Jack pulled them out and looked to his back seeing Minerva holding the overseer over the edge of the platform with the other 5 soldiers all slice in half."Please don't drop me! I-If you let me live I promise I won't send anyone after you"he pleaded, which only made Minerva drop him for a second only to catch him by the collar again which made him tremble in fear which made Minerva smile as she looked deep into the man's eyes as the air went cold around them "make sure you keep that promise cause I'll know when you'll mess up trust me' she said, before tossing him back on the platform as Liam arrived.

"hm I'm out of sight for a minute and you too already prove I'm working with scum" she said, coldly making jack sweatdrop, "with all due respect it was a act of self defense plus I know you were responsible for that explosion" jack said , making her scoff "well then we have a bad start we should get out of here I can tell that we aren't the strongest in this city" she said, surveying the area her eyes giving off a small flicker "and unfortunately they're all making they're way here fast so I'm going to throw a potent sleeping gas to get away so get prepared to take deep breaths alright?" she ordered, taking out another bomb "well we still haven't decided on leader but we can worry later I can hold myself back from causing a little mayhem" Minerva said, before taking a deep breath with Jack doing the same as the bomb was activated and dropped releasing the gas just as the people arrive only to start coughing from the smoke with the 3 jumping down and sprinting away.
