I was not being serious in killing Aya. It was just a little bit of killing intent combined with my sword intent. Wait. Did they hallucinate because of my killing intent? ... F*** I was just about to put my sword away after testing their resolve but, I certainly didn't expect miss elf here to just 'power up' and Kamehameha straight to my face.

Geez. Why can't they take a little bit of testing? I was satisfied with their resolve. I am glad all three of them can be reasonable and reach a conclusion to apologize to me when they figured out that they can't win me, courtesy to divination magic. But, I wanted to test them a little bit because people can be different when met with a real death.

People will show their true self when death is just in front of them. But, these three didn't abandon each other at all and when I was just thinking how to reward them for their resolve, this elf lady here just go *Kaboom*.

I sighed for the nth time while looking at the three unconscious people in front of me. Miss Thalia is here is practically naked with light bruises while the other two have small to medium injuries on their body like burn marks and oh, as a bonus, their previous patched wounds have started bleeding now.

Me? Of course, I am unharmed. I used sixth form of Moon breathing with wind magic to redirect the big ass mana burst before saving the other two with my maximum speed. And, when I looked back to Thalia, she fall unconscious after the *Kaboom* and cave ceilings are falling on her body which prompts me to use my maximum speed to save her again.

*sigh* F*** me.

Three hours later, when the sun is almost set and night is coming, I sensed a presence waking up. Glancing towards the direction, I see that, it is Alea who looks really confused seeing her surrounding but, soon the awaited reaction comes,

"... Wh-Whe-Where am I? Hm? A child?...! ENMA!!! YOU. HOW DARE YOU KILL AYA!" (Alea)

She immediately attack me with vines and roots which spouts out from the ground but, I just simply wave my sword with one hand at the incoming vines and roots. They look slow, like really slow.

All the roots and vines that attacks me are destroyed and before she can attack again, I shouted while pointing at the other two.

"Look around!!! Your friends are all fine. They are safe beside you." (Enma)

It seems she registers my words as she looks around as soon as my words ended. Then, she hurriedly cover them both with her vines, like a cocoon, making me chuckles. She looks like she is ready to send her attack again but, I beat her first.

"Calm down. It was a test to you three. I was not seriously going to kill you." (Enma)

"ARE you expecting me to believe that?!!" (Alea)

"Yes, because if I wanted to kill you, I would not treat your injuries and put you guys on my bed." (Embra)

Well, what other options do I have? The front part of the cave is gone *Kaboom* and only my bedroom and my workshop remain attached. Though there are some parts of the ceilings that falls, I could clean it up, thanks to my earth magic. But, the other rooms are going to takes some times. Luckily, greenhouse is still safe and I can still salvage some things from the kitchen.

But, what is not safe is the left side of the cave where there is a huge crater with chunks of earth missing. There is even a trace of the mana burst towards the nearby stream. Yep, I would be seriously in trouble if I didn't redirect that one. Anyway, now that the system functions are deactivated, I got to make do with what I left. Thankfully, I fixed a part of my workshop and created a small place for me to sleep.

So, shelter issue is solved and I still have stored food from the kitchen and vegetables from the greenhouse. Yep. No problem surviving alone for a week there. But, now I got three people to feed. That is the real problem. *sigh* F*** me.

Poor Elf looks like she is really confused that it is becoming to be funny. Will she attack me again if I laugh at her right now? Probably.

Well, the dude is someone who lived for 400 years on the top, just second to Muzan. Thus, it is understandable if he were this arrogant. Though, it might be different in my case. Yes. When I think it carefully, I was a bit narcissistic because of my overconfidence to kill them all if worst come to worst. So..., yes, this is definitely my fault. While I was reflecting on my past actions and feeling guilty, Aya has already wake up and being crushed to death by Alea's hug. Poor elf, she is still confused from waking up in a unfamiliar place and almost go unconscious again from her friend.

After checking their lady Thalia, Alea tell Aya what she knows of. When her words end, both Alea and Aya looks at me who is tending to the sweet potato in the nearby fireplace. Alea asks me in a small voice laced with a bit of anger. Sighing, I face them before talking my reason for doing that.

"Yep. As I have said that time, I overheard your volunteering to go apologize to me when you are not even sure whether I will forgive you or kill you. But, even so, you volunteered. Miss crybaby here and miss... Thalia there also stopped you from doing that.

Alea mana go a little bit haywire before Aya beside her calms her down and they both listen to me attentively again. I sighed before bowing my head.

"For that, I apologize. I was paranoid that maybe you all were acting. That is why I decided to pressure you with near-death experience to pull out your true-self. Now, imagine my surprise when I see that your determination do not waver a bit even in the face of death. You have earned my respect, Miss Aya" (Enma)

When I life up my head, I see that Miss Thalia has woken up. Both Aya and Alea didn't notice that as they are both immersed in their own thoughts and surprisingly, Miss Thalia asks me while looking me straight in the eyes with determination. I don't know whether it is intentional or not, but I can see her majestic aura of a queen when she asks me. I admits, I was tempted to also release my aura again but, I decided against it cause I guessed what she was going to say.

I smiles hearing her words. It also makes me laughs a little bit because I was amused. Her face, her eyes, and her determined voice, those are something familiar to me, because of my memories of Edelweiss. Therefore, I decided to take it seriously before looking at her again with a challenging smile while leaning on my left hand.

I can see the coming days are not going to be so boring like these three years. HAHA. I didn't even know myself. I was lonely, huh? Well, I don't know how long these days will last but, I will train them to the best of my abilities. That will be my compensation to you three.
