This Was Beyond Her Imagination

Wendy's smile fixed.

"Julian, what do you mean ‘canceled'?" Wendy was so shocked that her voice was trembling.

"Yes, it was canceled. It's better to postpone the wedding."

"But you said that you wanted to marry me quickly. Why..."

Julian explained patiently, "Wendy, something was wrong with my company. I have been busy with things about it, so I don't have time to think about things like the wedding. Anyway, we have been engaged for so long. So the postponement won't affect our relationship, right?"

Wendy knew it was because of Blair's press conference this morning. He must feel unpleasant about it.
