S4 Chapter 4

Night patrols had been much easier for me and entertaining. I was sitting on a building with some popcorn. Ochaco, Tsu, and the girl who was with the other two boys. Hado was it?

I had been silently cheering them on as they defeated a bad guy. They were on work study so I didn't want to interrupt them.

I flew around and also saw Kirishima doing patrols on his work study with a pro hero.

*They're all becoming good heroes. I feel like a proud mama!*

Kirishima had been fighting with a man who suddenly got a quirk boost. *This might be connected to Eri* I thought so I stayed in the shadows and watched.

I saw that the man's knives were cutting through Kirishima's skin. I dropped to the floor in front of Kirishima and cut through the knives coming at us using a larger feather.

"No! You shouldn't be able to cut my blades in half! I can't save my bro's now!" He yelled

There were more blades coming at us. *This is going now where. I don't have time to grab his string and defend Kirishima at the same time. Wait. Why am I protecting a hero?*

I stopped attacking and yelled "Oh no! I can't believe my memory! I left the oven on. Bye!"

I looked over at Kirishima and said "Distract him. Okay?"

He looked worried and said "But I-"

"You can do it" I smiled at him and flew into the sky. I hid on top of a building. When the guy focused his attacks on Kirishima I started to get worried. *What if he gets stabbed? Oh (fridge) what have I done?* Kirishima, though, was able to break all of the knives.

*Good. Now, I want to try something out* I grabbed the man's string and instead of pulling on it, I wrapped the man with it. The man tried to move but every time he would pull in the string, he would hurt himself. The downs side would be that the harder he tugs the more pain I feel.

*Alright, I can use the string as rope. But only on weaker people. I wonder what would happen if I let go…*

I dropped the string and the man was able to go through the string. *It only works if I am touching the string*

During the time that I let go of him he started to attack Kirishima. Luckily, he was able to take him down. *Oops. My bad…*

I kneeled down and asked "How and where did you get the drug?"

"I just wanted to get stronger" he mumbled

"How?" I asked

"I'm not telling!" He yelled and he shot blades towards me. I grabbed them and broke them in half. He tried to escape through the ceiling. I sliced the blades he was balancing on in half and used his string as rope. He was unable to move. He tried his best though. The harder he tugged the more it hurt me.

"I've got him" A pro hero said

"Fat Gum!" Kirishima said

I nodded and the police took the man away.

"Was that a new skill, Rose?" Kirishima asked

*Gah! I forgot that I'm not allowed to be here*

I turned towards him and yelled "You saw nothing" and flew away.

*I really want to know more about what happened. I should ask him later in the dorms*
