Ark'ry/Conner POV:
"What the hell did you do!" Vlad's harsh shout echoed through the cavern, his frustration palpable. Though I had no inkling about the trio's actions, one thing was undeniable—they had royally messed things up for him.
I couldn't help but let out a chuckle at his misery, a smirk playing on my lips as I asked, "Did you mess something big up?" The satisfaction of his outrage was undeniable.
"You moron! This spell can never be tampered with. Even the best magic users can't deactivate or break it down. The only way to stop it is tempering, which is also hardly possible." Vlad scolded oppressively, releasing all his pent-up frustration upon me.
Pointing out anomalies as he observed all the seals thoroughly, he seemed to have healed physically. "So tell me, how could a couple of curse spirits do it? It doesn't make sense at all."
I stood up, recollecting my lost strength while healing myself through reverse curse energy, both physically and mentally. The atmosphere was tense with uncertainty.
He declared that the color of the pillar had changed into a completely bright and dark hue. "Oh, shit! We are doomed now because of you!" His fear was evident, a troubled look etched across his face.
Staying silent, I observed the surroundings and let him mutter more monologues. The realization slowly dawned on me about the potential consequences if what he said was true. "....."
'Girls, what did you do?' The question gnawed at me, a sense of foreboding settling in.
"You… The slightest change in the seal will lead to an unknown consequence; perhaps they opened a door to another world… That is even more absurd!" Vlad continued speaking fanatically, his hand covering his face, and the tone of his voice rising.
"..." There was nothing to say for me as I was equally concerned. His proclamations seemed to hold weight, and a genuine fear lingered in the cavern.
"Prince, what's happening? I thought you stopped it?" She asked, her voice was stressed and unsettled regarding the mission.
"Well it's too late, I might have failed you." I responded to her with uncertainty and looked at her.
'She….' As I looked at her I saw she was completely red as if she took a bath in blood and was missing one hand, wounded and many scars visible on her.
"It's all because of you, bald bitch!!!" Vlad's accusation cut through the air, laden with anger and desperation. The situation had taken an unexpected turn, and the weight of responsibility pressed heavily on me.
Ancient One POV
*Huff x3
Exhaustion weighed on me like a heavy cloak as I panted for breath. The minions of Vlad were relentless, and were it not for Prince's Bloodfield weakening them, I would have succumbed long ago.
'I won the battle... What's that!' A gasp escaped me as I observed a bright pillar of light shooting up in the sky, shattering the barrier that protected us. Dread crept over me.
Rallying what little strength remained, I forced my fatigued body to move. The journey to the place where Prince and Vlad faced off felt endless, but my strong will propelled me forward.
Arriving at the scene, shock and a sense of betrayal struck me. Prince, whom I expected to halt the ominous process, seemed defeated. My inquiry trembled in the air, "Prince, what's happening? I thought you stopped it?" The weight of potential failure loomed.
My will wavered, exhaustion threatening to engulf me. Prince, in a state of defeat, appeared worse off than I, having suffered injuries that hinted at a fierce struggle.
"It's all because of you, bald bitch!!!" Vlad's venomous accusation reverberated, filled with hate and anguish. His vampire power surged at an alarming rate.
The situation bewildered me; Vlad's anger was directed at me, yet the spell persisted. Frustration intensified, and the last shreds of my strength surrendered.
"..." Vlad charged at me with murderous intent. Feeble attempts at retaliation failed as he manipulated my blood, paralyzing my body. His transformation into an awakened state heightened his power to unimaginable levels, leaving me helpless.
"It's over, Prince~" I murmured, resigned to the impending darkness. My mission to save Earth hung in the balance, and the encroaching specter of death loomed ever closer.
As I had mentally prepared myself to die….. It was then I felt someone pulling me with a great force into the sky. Opening my eyes I saw Prince as he requested. "Fulfil what you promised me!"
