"These are… runes!!!" Ancient one muttered under her breath in complete bafflement as soon as she saw numerous complex glowing runes on the ground.
"Yup, a great work of art." Conner commented so casually as it is a regular occurrence and nothing special. "Someone like you had never in their life seen such a thing right, bald Sorceress."
Hearing Marika's remark hurted a nerve in her but right now as an earth protector she had to swallow her pride and fulfil her oath.
"Was that a taunt, Marika. Don't be so mean to my guests." Conner said, remind her that the bald sorceress is the exceptional ally.
"Prince, what's the meaning of these runes?" The sorceress inquired because she was unable to comprehend any of them, in her entire life she had never encountered such complex runes as in the moment.
"Well, in simple terminology, a power up for them and indirectly for me." Conner clarified her doubts but instead she had more questions now.
"We don't have much time to waste on idle chatting so let's finish this as soon as possible and you Ancient one Don't. Interfere." He advised then gave a cold and clear warning.
To which she nodded in agreement. "After all we are a team right,"
Marika and Miranda together specifically; in viciousness toward the bald lady in yellow robes. "Temporary."
"We are all in, no turns. As for the mission we will leave tomorrow." Conner commanded his new partner who didn't argue. "Even if I want to interfere I have no chance I have seen it all." She said while she rested on the unoccupied chair and summoned a book out of thin air and peacefully read it.

Not wasting any more time Rani, Melina, Melinia, Marika and Miranda etc, every single one of Conner Special grade curse spirits takes their positions in the array of runes while Conner watches with Ancient one.
"My dearest Lord, the time has come. Coles your eyes and bear the surge of energy." Rani warned with great concern evident in her voice regarding Conner's life because he had forged a pact with them.
In easy words it means this ritual will hurt him a lot if they face any changes in their soul which is about to happen.
As they took and sat on the designated spots Dimitrescu undo her domain, all the runes forged in her domains were simply transferred to the soil.
In the midst of the ritual, the runes glowed with an otherworldly intensity, absorbing the ambient mana as fuel. The Ancient one, a spectator to this unfamiliar spectacle, found herself awestruck by the sheer complexity and power displayed before her.
"You can feel it, Sorceresses? Do you?" He asked, experiencing changes in his own body and soul which were reacting to the changes on his Curse spirits.
The pact and heavenly restriction which were placed upon him when he created binding vows with them sealed his life/Fate with them, a feat which no one can ever think of achieving.
"It doesn't hurt yet," Conner informs others, surely he could feel the slightest changes in his body and soul however there was no immediate pain or suffering yet.
Hearing Conner Miranda shouts. "We are not even halfway through. Master." Listening to her words Conner distances himself from the new partner.
"It is about to get worse." Marika forewarned in a serious tone. As Conner was linked up with them if anything bad-bad to their soul then Conner will get the consequences as well.
"The mana is getting intense and heavy?" Ancient one stated as she felt the thin fog like mana in the atmosphere was now converted into heavy and intense thick mana like mountain.
The ritual further progressed and everything was going fine and as expected by everyone however it was then Conner was hit by mana, which wawa trying to alter his soul.
He yelled as the pain was unexpected and unbearable. Moreover, he was not ready to endure. "Prince!!!" Ancient one worriedly called because she didn't understand what was happening at the movement.
In the midst of pain and uncertainty, Conner reassured those around him that it was "nothing yet." The journey had just commenced, and the trials that awaited promised to test the limits of their resolve.
"Don't you dare to act tough, whatever it is it's not good for you!" She attempted to reason with him and was afraid he might die if this goes on.
Marika from a distance shouted, trust and confidence was illuminated from her voice. "Shut the hell up, he can pull it off."
"He will, what is happening to us is different to what he is experiencing." Miranda followed up even though what Corner was going though was slightly unexpected.
Melina nods and responds to defend. "Moreover he knows. He can, otherwise he won't put his life on line like this." As the process continued Conner stopped streaming.
