"Ouch!"
I turned to my right, registering the noise. Hephie lay on her stomach, lightly rubbing her bottom. My handprints still marked her bubbly white cheeks. I was admittedly pretty aroused by that, but I chose to suppress that feeling. Now was not the time.
I asked. "… How are you doing?"
"How do you think I'm doing?" she muttered.
The handprints were not the only thing that plagued her body. She had multiple bite marks and blue kiss suction marks all over her body.
Maybe I went too far? I always do… I seriously considered that but was interrupted, "GEEZ… I was just joking, Ken."
I couldn't see her face, but I guess she must have rolled her eyes going by her tone of voice.
'I don't understand how he can transform into being so… DIFFERENT in bed.' she blushed just thinking of the things he made her do the night before… She couldn't believe she even agreed to do them. One look at the leash that was still in the bed was all it took for some memories to resurface.
Hephie was glad Ken was facing away from her, otherwise, he would have seen the big perverted grin on her face.
Alas, the spirit is willing, but the flesh is spongy and bruised… She could barely even get up.
"I love you, sweetie," I warmly said. I really did, she was my haven so to speak.
Hephie looked her head backwards and looked at me. She studied my expression for a moment before she sighed, "Don't tell me you're still guilty about it?"
I needn't talk, my expression gave out my feelings on this subject.
"Ken… I can barely move…" she gestured to her body. "I can't do this every day." she shook her head.
She continued on.
"You know… I'm glad you're not going to go around my back and fool around." she joked. "Those stories you told me about that world's Zeus…" she spat out, and I had to agree with her on that one. He was simply revolting.
I carefully pulled her naked figure into my embrace, resting her back on my chest and hugging her waist. I kissed the top of her crimson head and mumbled, "Thank you, Hephie. You really mean the world to me."
"No, Ken. It's me that must thank you…"
'I can't even imagine a life without you now…' she thought in her mind, 'Heh, he really got me wrapped around his fingers.' Hephie smiled foolishly.
I disagreed with her on that one but didn't voice it out. We stayed like that for a while, simply enjoying each other's company.
"So what got you worked up?" she finally asked.
"What?"
"The day before… You seemed pretty occupied."
I was, wasn't I? She even made me forget about it… I started recounting to her my earlier ventures. The frown on her face grew deeper and deeper the further I talked about it.
She was not pleased.
"That is worrying. I have never heard of this Nigghod you talked about or these talking monsters... Xenos as you called them."
She turned her head around and looked me right in the eye. Her crimson eyes locked into my blue ones. "You're not thinking of going there alone, are you? What you told me doesn't sound so good..." I shook my head to her inquiry.
She nodded approvingly, " So, why are you going this far?"
I shrugged my shoulders," …I need to know about it." She looked weirdly at me.
"You need to… know?" she repeated my words. And I must say, they did sound pretty stupid.
Nonetheless, I silently nodded. " Those guys are dangerous… Especially that Enyo guy, he gives me very bad vibes…" I added, "You know how accurate I am with my instincts."
"Right…" Hephie grimaced.
There was a funny story behind the reason she was easily convinced once I mentioned my instincts, but that would be better left for another day.
"I'm not sure that you know this, but Orario went through a very dark time. Evilus…" she paused. "They went through a lot of adventurers and civilians alike, Ken… Even some of my Familia members weren't spared."
I had naturally heard of the 'Dark ages' Orario went through. That was around the same time when Ryuu supposedly went rogue and wiped out Evilus— which isn't really the case, apparently.
She put her hand on my thigh and squeezed it," I understand your decision, Ken... Just don't take too long, please."
I guess it must be quite a hard blow to her to find out that they only retreated into the shadow of the darkness. I could see her shoulders slightly shaking…
Change of plans… It seems Evilus will have to completely disappear from the map sooner than planned. It was a bit strange how her getting sad aggravated me more than the potential loss of a couple of million lives.

Such a device was not easy to make, not at all. In fact, I even had to borrow the help of a certain blue-haired nerd. Her ideas were quite novel, all things considered.
After some time, I suddenly found myself unassumingly treading on the stone-paved road of the pleasure quarters by the grace of a teleportation mark I put out earlier. I couldn't fully take in its state unbothered…

"Hello, handsome. Are you looking for a good time?" A half-naked Amazoness closed in on me. Her large caramel breasts were practically shoved into my face.
"Maybe another day," I answered, politely smiling. Although, I was just being diplomatic here.
She shrugged her shoulders, making her breasts jiggle along, "Your loss… Holler at me if you change your mind."
Naturally, I didn't come here with my actual appearance; the consequences would be disastrous. I was already a celebrity in Orario. SwordKing... quite a pretentious name if I'm being honest.
I chose a relatively handsome blond-haired and green-eyed young man.
...Of course, it never reached my natural looks.
