The Wedding

After Denise left the hospital with Tom, Leon took his place beside his wife. He was about to say delightful words to her when she scolded him in a weak voice.

"What are you doing here, Leon? Aren't you going to the wedding?" Ella asked.

"I will..." Leon smiled at her wife's cute but authoritative attitude. "I just need to ensure you are fine before..."

"I'm fine." Ella smiled sweetly at him. "My mum and your mum are here and the both of them can take care of me. I feel very weak and I don't think I'll be able to attend the wedding. That is why you must represent us. Ensure Denise says I do to Tom before you come back here. Okay?"

"Okay." Leon kissed Ella first on the lips and next on the forehead. "I love you with all my heart."

"I love you too." Ella's lips curled up in a faint smile.
