"What!" Luke's eyes widened in astonishment. "Who goes around carrying this."
"I do after experiencing the likes of you," Riley spoke with disdain. "I drafted this a long time ago after my last failed relationship. Since then, I have been carrying it around so that people like you won't make empty promises and walk out on it freely. As I stressed earlier, we don't have to date. You are free to accept defeat now and back off with your scorned pride."
"That's not going to happen especially now that I found you entertaining, aside from being pretty." Luke slowly picked up the document and read through it.
To Luke's further amusement, the piece of the document conveyed all of Riley's initial requests and consequences. There were no financial obligations or extreme repercussions except the warning clause which simply said; 'if you break the agreement, you will pay with your life.'
