251 Jealous

Xia Ling only fell asleep in the middle of the night.

When she woke up the next day, she found herself curled up in Li Lei's arms and her nose pressed against Li Lei's chest. His body warmth and heartbeat were so close to her that she felt somewhat uncomfortable. She looked up and realized that Li Lei was looking at her with his beautiful and quiet eyes. She did not know how long he had been watching her.

Seeing that she was looking over, he smiled and greeted her. "Good morning, Xiao Ling."

Xia Ling struggled out of his arms rather uncertain. Didn't she sleep back-facing him? She uneasily scanned her surroundings and asked, "Where is the cat?"

She heard a faint meow in answer. The cat had curled into a small ball of fur at the foot of the bed and was still covered in dirt. It looked at her with its damp eyes.

Xia Ling's heart almost melted. She lifted her arms and warmly said, "Come here."
