A Spy for Hire.
Kofi's just blown up her entire capital city to smithereens for taking her beloved master from her. But with the help of the Surviving System - the very thing the Delvaran government was after - she lands in the prosperous parallel country called Lupart. But what's this, her head are filled with memories that are definitely not hers and far much more than what she should be having " Did I just crash a person's rebirth "? Yes she did, cos she's a survivor. But Kofi has no qualms with anyone in this world and simply wishes to explore her surroundings but the original owner of this body won't let her. Now she has to fulfill her dying wish, deal with terrible family members, regain her lost memories..... and many many many more. But all these things cost money and Kofi's only good at stealing and you guessed it, spying. When she accidentally ends up at one of the most prestigious schools for the country's elite, her skills may be useful. She makes friends and twice as many enemies along the way but Kofi doesn't care. She'll take any mission no matter what it is. The question now is, Do you want to hire a spy? Chapter 10 : Would you like to join our team?
Kofi didn't really understand the footage Domino showed her, but if it was as simple as what her new friend just did. She felt she could do it [ Am I supposed to be serious, plain faced or smile. Don't want to scare them off ]
She looked around and spotted a boy with deep navy blue curly hair and bright shy blue eyes. Kofi pointed at him, speaking to Peach " Let's ask him to join our team ". Peach didn't have much of an option as she was dragged along.
Kofi smiled slightly, trying her best to act like her age according to the videos she'd seen earlier. " Hi. Would you like to join our team "? The boy seemed surprised and pointed at himself, his voice barely audible " Are you talking to me "?
Kofi nodded, still smiling " Of course. We really need you on our team. We'd literally be incomplete without you ". Chase looked Kofi and Peach up and down and felt he was going to get a panic attack [ Beautiful girls at talking to me? ]
" You need me "? Kofi nodded seriously, " Definitely ". Chase was still confused, " But why me? I'm nothing special ". Kofi tilted her head to the side, [ I don't know how he can think of himself like that ] and shrugged, " I'm not gonna argue with you, but honestly. I've never seen eyes so blue before ".
Chase blinked a few times. Everyone in the Yanchol clan hated him. In fact, he was only there because he had no other place to go. He'd only been able to get into this school because his siblings wanted to thoroughly embarrass him in front of their grandpa.
Chase broke out of his daze as Kofi suddenly held his hand. She placed the fox on her shoulder, all giggles and laughs " Now I have two friends. This is unbelievable "! Chase and Peach looked at each other helplessly as Kofi walked them around, looking for their fourth teammate.
The crowd in the hall was already disappearing which meant time was almost up. Kofi didn't mind breaking the rules and going with only two teammates but it was a good excuse to get herself one more friend.
Kofi caught sight of a head of blonde hair and walked towards it. Peach and Chase had spent most of this journey staring at the floor and didn't even notice who she'd walked up to till she stopped.
" Hi, would you like to join our team "? The boy calmly looked Kofi up and down with his pink eyes and Kofi suddenly added, " You look like a responsible young man who likes a challenge ".
He frowned slightly, " What's that supposed to mean "? Kofi smiled innocently as she pointed at the timer up on the ceiling, " Be a shame if you missed out on the fun for a lack of teammates ".
