What if Torren Stark had a grandfather who had memories of his previous life with some power that was granted to him by the Akashic Records and he prepared the North to face the Targaryen forces?
At the entrance of the tunnel of the Wall, which leads to the wilderness beyond the wall, Lyanna watched Reagan meeting with the rangers who will accompany him to the Land Of Always Winter. The man who was at the forefront stood almost tall as Reagan and he had the face of an experienced one among the rangers. The other rangers were looking at the wolves that had been assigned to them to ride out into the wilderness.
Turning to Alys, who was staying next to her, Lyanna asked "Are you ready for our adventure beyond the wall?"
"I am. But are you sure about this? I know we can take down most men, but it's not the same with the others, you know." Alys asked back after answering her.
"Hmmmmm. They are not inexperienced, they have been fending off the Ironborn who attack their village for plundering, so relax and follow my lead." Lyanna said as she ruffled Alys's hair.
Nodding at her statement, Alys said "I still can't believe that Reagan is okay with your plan."
"And why is that?" Lyanna asked her.
"He doesn't like if any of us are hurt, and I didn't think that he would be okay with your plan, that's all." Alys told her.
Lyanna just shrugged in response and looked at Reagan who came towards them. Raising an eyebrow at both of them, Reagan said "I'll be leaving now, be good and do what you want to do. But make sure that you don't kidnap anyone for days or get kidnapped. I don't want my betrothed to be the wife of a wildling before our marriage."
"Alright. Duly noted." Lyanna gave him a mock bow.
"So you don't care what happens to me?" Alys asked from the side.
Tilting his head, he told her "Make sure to be on guard, and don't try to kidnap wildlings. Which you will do to get out of the marriage talk at home. All you have to do is tell our parents that you will find a man of your own."
"Jerk." Alys just cursed him and looked in a different direction.
Shaking his head, he hugged Lyanna and gave her a deep loving kiss and said "Be safe and watch out for my sister."
Winking at him, she replied "You don't have to worry about anything. Go and find what you need to find. We don't have that much time and you know why."
"Yeah, those bloody southerners and their greed for gold. We'll be sending them back to the castles that they crawled out from." Reagan assured her.
Then, he hugged Alys and kissed on her forehead he said "Watch her back okay? She will go wild when fighting. So, protect her back. You can do that for me right?"
"Yeah, I'm not letting anyone lay hands on my sister." Alys told him with a smile and he nodded at her.
With their farewells said, Reagan left with the rangers to the Land Of Always Winter. As they left, Lyanna turned towards the men and women who had come with their Prince and Princess to make a name for themselves. Looking at them, she said out loud "We have two months to conquer all the Wildling camps and get them to bend the knee. I'll be the leader in the absence of Prince Reagan. The Prince will come back in a month with Children of the Forest and the Giants. So before that, we should do what we have to do. We rode for an hour! Get your essentials, we will be in the wild for a long time."
"Aye aye!"
Nodding at them, Lyanna went to prepare herself for their journey beyond the wall along with Alys.
------------------------------------------------
Beyond the Wall, in the wilderness, Reagan was leading the rangers along with Owen who was up front with him on Dawn. Owen, who had been silent for some time after leaving the Wall, asked Reagan "Do you really believe in the fairytale?"
Chuckling at his question, Reagan replied to him "It's not a fairytale, and we are going to make you understand why the Wall is necessary and why the Night's Watch is the first line of defence against our enemies."
Owen just sighed to himself, as he didn't know what to say to the Prince of the North. Shaking his head, Owen told Reagan "Just make sure that you won't lead us to our death."
"I can promise you that I am not leading to your death." Owen sighed in relief at the answer. but his eyes went wide when he heard what Reagan said next "But, you may get some fatal damage that could potentially lead to death. So just trust me and follow my orders."
"Lord Owen! Prince Reagan! Some Wildlings are following us!" One of the men shouted from the back.
"It's alright. Let us increase our pace, we will lose them a bit." Telling the rangers that he made Fenrir increase his speed and when Fenrir started to increase his speed the other wolves also started to follow his lead, surprising the rangers.
As Reagan told the rangers, the Wildlings couldn't keep up with them and one of the two Wildlings, with brown hair and blue eyes said "Where did that kneeler and the Crows get those gigantic wolves?"
"How should I know? I am confused as you are." Another wildling with blonde hair and blue eyes said, who almost looked similar to the one who spoke first.
"Bjorn, I think we should inform the chief about this." The brown haired one said.
"You are right Sigurd. We should inform father about these people venturing into the land beyond the wall." Bjorn said as he stood up from his crouching position.
"Do you think that they are here after hearing about our father?" Sigurd asked his brother Bjorn.
Shaking his head, Bjorn replied "No, they don't know anything about father. He has been discreet about everything so far. Even if they know about the movements of their father, I don't think that they are here for that." Bjorn said as he walked along his brother to a different direction than they came from.
After a two hours of walk they reached a settlement where there were people gathered around the fire with an old man sitting on top of a rock at the head eating the leg of a roasted pig. When Bjorn and Sigurd entered the camp, they noticed that there was something amiss in here, and they were instantly noticed by the old man who was sitting on the rock who spoke up to them "My sons! Your brother Ivar has found some grave news."
"What is it father?" Bjorn asked as he sat down in front of his father.
Instead of his father, another young man with black hair was the one who said "Thirty men and women have exited the Wall. All armed to their teeth and they ride on wolves of the size of a horse and two wolves ridden by two women who look to be the leader of the group are much larger than a normal horse."
Bjorn and Sigurd didn't look surprised by the news of the wolves, but they were curious about the men and women who have come out of the Wall. The father noticed it in his son's eyes so he asked them "You don't look surprised about this news?"
Nodding at his father, Bjorn said "We saw a young man of my age leading ten Crows on the backs of wolves to the North. He also had a gigantic wolf with him, which was much larger that a horse I have ever seen."
Hearing that, the camp became silent and one of the men who was eating roasted meat asked the old man "Chief Ragnar. Should we chase them?"
"No Floki. They are armed and have wolves that are almost similar to dire wolves. I don't want a confrontation with them until we know their true purpose." Pausing there he looked around the camp, looking into the eyes of everyone present here and said "We will be on the move from now on. We will be uniting the Free Folk clans as one and attack the Wall and go beyond the Wall. We will make sure that we will have enough food to last through the coming winter!"
"To King Ragnar!!" A man shouted out from the back as he raised his pouch that contained some kind of alcohol.
"To King Ragnar!!" The other people cheered on and Ragnar just smiled at them in return.
