36 T’was all a Dream.
"The hell. Sage, what was that???" I jolted out of my meditative state and stood up, light sweat on my back and a worried look on my face.
"Lucifer, calm down. That was just a dream. I think it was some side effect of the mind stone assimilating with you and boosting your mind.
I saw the dream as well. I also analysed it, and there were a lot of inconsistencies. My conclusion would be that was all a dream. There is no person name Johnathan Dibny, and there is no other person that was reincarnated with you.
I think we were just a little bit tired after the fight that happened in New York." The soothing voice of the great sage rang out in my head as I regulated my breathing and looked at the clock on the wall.
"Huff. That gave me a scare. It would have been so weird if there was another reincarnate with me in their reality. Those storylines never work out." Lucifer sighed as he looked at his body, retracting the yellow stone sticking out of his chest.
"Yeah. That would have been weird. Now, I think the others have woken up. Thor is getting impatient and wants to take Loki back. Burton and Banner are still sleeping, while Nat and Tony are still undergoing their treatment." The sage explained.
Soon, I walked down and met up with Thor, who was standing with Loki in shackles and a muzzle as he tried to work a handheld holographic transmitter.
"Need some help with that. Who are you trying to call?" I ask as I approach the god.
"Ah, Lucifer. I was just trying to get this thing working and trying to call you. I feel great after that treatment and would like to head back to Asgard with Loki. He will be dealt with according to our laws." Thor explained with a smile.
"Sure, I'll just let Fury know. He'll raise hell if I let you go without him knowing." Saying so, I pull out my phone and send him a quick text, and put it back into my pocket.
"All done. You need some help to get to Asgard?" I ask.
"Not to worry Lucifer. I, Thor, can easily go back home."
"Heimdall!!!" Saying so, Thor looked into the sky and called out loudly.
"…"
"…"
"Are you by any chance waiting for the all-seeing eye god to open up a portal?" I ask slowly.
"..This is awkward. This has never happened before. Heimdall!!" With a small cough, thor tried once again.
"Don't bother with that. You cant open portals in areas that are under my jurisdiction.
Go outside and then scream your lungs out. Also, I can't have you trashing my carpet and interior once again." I inform the embarrassed god as he looks at me with horror and amazement.
"That is some incredible power you have there Lucifer. And I apologize for Mjolnir smashing your walls. I will bring you something from Asgard the next time I visit. Thank you for all your help. I will take my leave now." Saying so, thor pulled Loki out with him and entered the elevator.
A few seconds later, a beam of multicolor light fell from the sky, leaving behind an intricate pattern on the ground sizzling like BBQed meat.
"Still amazes me. I wonder if I should go to Asgard sometime. Lily and Emily will love it there." Saying so, I head inside, check up on the other members still lying in their med beds, and make a small call with my wife and kid.
"Lucifer!!! Look what I got!!" as soon as the call was connected, the face of a 12-year-old girl filled the screen holding a giant LEGO set.
"Hey Em. What do you have there?" I ask as she jumps around in joy, showing off her new LEGO set.
"Mommy got me this. Its so awesome. She let me buy one thing that I wanted but didn't set any restrictions. Can you believe it? She's the best."
"Hey sweety, slow down. Don't run around. Here, give me the phone." From the background, the sweet voice of an angel filtered through the speaker and the screen switched to show a sun-tanned woman with golden-brown hair and deep brown eyes.
"Hey Babe. How's the shopping going?" I ask with a smirk, seeing the corner of a few shopping bags in the background.
"Well, someone left their credit cards on the bed all alone. I felt they were lonely, so I went and stuck them in some card readers. They were so happy. They even made these little sounds every time I used them. They were really happy." Lily joked as she smiled and twirled around, showing off the new dress she was wearing.
"So the credit cards were lonely, huh. Well, lets see who gets lonely when you come back home." With a mischievous tone, Lucifer continued his little banter with his wife and daughter for the rest of the evening, finally putting down the phone after Lily got tired and fell asleep still holding the phone.
"I should look over my loot from today while everyone wakes up."
For the next few hours, Lucifer entered his mindscape as he analyzed the Chitauri blasters, bodies, and ships, before breaking them down and building them back even better than they used to be.
"I'll use these designs in my next project." Saying so, Lucifer got to work.

Hey Guys.
As you can see, I am not dead.
I kinda forgot about this book after I abandoned it last year.
Stuff happened. Got a major writer's block. Uni got in the way. And eventually, I just forgot about it.
Then, today, when I was mindlessly scrolling through this app, I ran into a funny little fanfic that was abandoned a year ago.
I started reading it. Felt it was familiar. Kept on reading it. And then I hit me.
"Damn. I'm reading my own book."
I reread my own book and then I came across the last chapter.
It was sooooo shit. It kinda made me gag. Also, what the fuck kind of name is Lucifer leukos cueros. I'm pretty sure I misspelled it.
It was as if I went full-on chunni and just went into google translate and translated some random words. (That's exactly what I did).
So anyway. I might be starting this fic back again. Same as last time, it is a procrastination project.
Updates might not be regular.
The previous chapter with the other reincarnate was just a dream. It didn't happen. (I can't be fucked to rewrite it or delete it.)
MCs name is now just Lucifer. No weird last names.
I'll turn his hair from white to midnight black. It's more 'normal-looking than some albino kid running around.
But I'm still keeping Emily and Lily around.
