4 Lesson

We have been walking east of the burned village since morning. And now that we have found a small open area near a river within the forest, I have decided to start here, the lesson for the two of them.

As I abruptly stop, the two notice this and stop as well, looking at me patiently, waiting for me to act or speak. "We will stop here, and I will start with today's lesson." I say.

Looking down, I force pull three sticks from the ground and throw one each a stick and say, "Before we start todays main lesson, I will show and explain something to you, something powerful, known as Sith Alchemy." 

They both nod and are completely focused now that I have said "something powerful". Channeling dark side energy through the stick I am holding with my right hand, streaks of dark and red energies swirl around my hand and the stick. I start to alter it. Making it more durable.

The two are completely amazed by what I displayed, despite knowing nothing of what I have actually just done. Looking back at them, I tell them to snap the sticks they are holding in half. They are confused by my request, but nonetheless they oblige, snapping their sticks in half. Then they look back at me, still confused.

Then I throw the stick towards Bjorn, he catches it and looks back at me questioningly, and I tell him to snap it. He tries and tries, eventually giving up and his sister, Helga, tries too. They fail over and over.

They look back at me amazed and I say "That is Sith Alchemy, the power to alter an item… or a living thing. It is an ability that you must understand, especially you Helga." 

I pull another stick from the ground and use Sith Alchemy to also alter its durability and density. As Helga is holding the previous altered stick, I throw the other one to Bjorn.

Holding the stick, Helga seems to realize what my intention is, as she looks worriedly at her confused brother, then me.

Grinning, I say "It seems you have quickly realized Helga what my intentions are. Yes, you will be dueling and if any of you hold back, you will be punished accordingly."

Both Helga and Bjorn finally show fear at my words. Seeing their expressions, I sternly say "I asked you if you wanted power… revenge… and your answer was yes. The true way of the Sith is not one of fear… not one of spinelessness. The true way of the Sith is harsh and one riddled with uncountable difficulties. 

Hate and anger is the way of the Sith. Yet calmness, yes… calmness and cautiousness too, one must also control their hate and anger, to be able to direct it accurately. So do as your master commands, show no fear, and seek power. One day, in the future you will realize. For you are the foundation to the new Sith Empire."

They both gulp, as if they have gulped their fears and quenched them. Yet, it is always there… it will always be there, until they truly learn how to conquer it.

They walk a bit further from each other and turn to face one another. As they are ready to fight. "On my signa-" as I am about to say that, surprising me greatly, one I did not expect was… Bjorn.

Yes Bjorn, cunning little bastard he turned out to be. Rushes towards his sister, jumps, and aims to smash the stick on her head. Helga is barely able to block it and pushes Bjorn. Surprised by her little brother's deviousness. 

As Bjorn falls to the ground, Helga runs towards him, stabs towards his right rib. But Bjorn clumsily dodges to the left and sweeps the stick towards Helga's legs, and it hits her right ankle. She falls and Bjorn tries to stand up as fast as he can, though his back still aches from the fall.

They finally both stand up. Helga was barely able to stand, balancing on her left leg, her right ankle throbbing with pain from the previous blow. Bjorn's expression is one of pain, as his back is bit arched.

Focused on one another, waiting for the first to attack. And so, Helga hastily rushes towards Bjorn. They both clash, blocking and hitting all clumsily and amateurishly as expected of children.

After a minute, Bjorn is on the ground breathing heavily, Helga is out of breath as well. Both are riddled with cuts and bruises from punching and kicking.

As Helga is about the strike her brother again, I say "Stop.", as they both look at me and I continue "I have seen enough of what I need… for now. You may relax." As I finish, Helga sighs and plumets to the ground. Bjorn just lays down, completely exhausted.

Taking this opportunity to check something out, I summon the system and began skimming through it. Two objectives on my mind, first to see if anyone else is able to see system and the second is to research more about the topic I have stumbled upon yesterday, on how ignite or how to summon fire using the force.

Seeing that both Helga and Bjorn having been glancing at me for a while, without even noticing or looking at the system, I internally have a sigh of relief. This means I am the only one who is able to use and see this system.

Now, as for the topic of igniting fire using The Force. It came down to a group of people who lived around 1000 BBY, the Shapers of Kro Var. How unlucky of me not being able to be there for longer and explore their ways.

They were able to manipulate the elements using The Force, but it was more efficient when they were in said elements environment. For example, a group of the Kro Var, who lived near a valley filled with lava, were able to manipulate fire through The Force far easier than without it.

And so, I tried to read further into this ability, going far deeper into the wiki, and it took me into a deep rabbit hole, which had no end. History I have never been able to know during my time, and ones that come after my traversal.

The main point is, I read on the specifics on how to ignite a flame using The Force by heating the molecules in the air, and thus I tried it… and on the first try, it worked. As it should, after all I am one of the few users of Force Alter Environment, doing a simple thing such as this is… well easy. 

With my centuries of experience using the force and the power I have; I will be able to gain powers unheard of through the usage of this system. This is truly a great boon for me, one I will utilize very well.

As for the other usages, I have skimmed on Historical data of the starting of great civilizations in the planet called "Earth", the home of Benjamin. It gave me a far greater insight into how to start my own Empire. With the knowledge I will have available through the system, my Empire will usher this world into a new civilization.

It was best indeed to choose Earth's history as a starting point, as they are far less advanced than my own world. With this I will have a greater understanding and thus a greater foundation for an advanced and powerful Empire.

With this, I have concluded this day, with a few stories for my disciples, about the Sith and their origins.
