Abnormal Weather

The next day, Elaina came out of her room still sleepy. After her escapade yesterday and her job at dismantling a big carcass until late afternoon, her body is still aching a bit. She would still be asleep if not for the cries of Arthur which jerked her awake from slumber.

She isn't mad that she was jolted awake as a result but she felt a bit groggy and she feel a bit messy.

"Might as well drink some hot milk to calm my head. Ugh, the cold doesn't help either."

While shivering, Elaina headed to the living room, lit up the chimney to flames by tossing a flame gem to rekindle the half-burnt wood, and then headed to the kitchen to prepare some hot milk for herself.

She made sure to stay near the stove to relieve herself from the coldness that was starting to numb her fingers as soon as she went outside her room. She can see from the window that the snow is currently falling again which is causing the cold weather.
