Internal Improvements

When I woke up later, I was greeted to the sight of Ayuri silently standing off to one side while Cythistia was behind me, letting me lean on her as I slept.

*Growl*

My stomach groaned in hunger as I sat up properly and woke both, the maid, and my lover up.

"Good afternoon mistresses." Ayuri greeted in a professional fashion, one I enjoy breaking all the time.

"Good afternoon to you as well Ayuri, Traytora." My lover greeted us.

"Mmm~" I greeted back.

Cythistia leaned over and kissed me on the cheek as she smiled.

"Ayuri, go fetch her a large meal, she's starving." Cythistia ordered.

"Yes ma'am." Ayuri accepted the order and proceeded to fetch me some food.

Though… I didn't feel like eating any kind of meal, I was hungry for something else, something bigger, I was hungry for someone.

'I'm hungry.' I told Cythistia.

"I know, I just sent Ayuri to get some food for you."

'Not that kind of hungry.'

"What do you mean by 'not that kind of hungry'? What's that supposed to mean exactly?" She inquired.

'I want more than just a meal. It's a primal instinct as a predator... I need to eat someone...' I told her exactly what I was feeling and thinking.

"Oh... Well, I'll go and talk to my grandfather and see what I can do for you then in that regard. But in the meantime, please at least eat something, okay?"

I nodded and she got out of bed to go talk to her grandfather about my 'request'.

And as I waited for both of them to return, I decided to take a look at the backlog of messages I had in my Soul Scroll.

'H-Holy shit!!!' There was so much there to take in that I actually couldn't take it in, it really was too much.

'I-I think I'll deal with this after I've eaten.' I thought as I continued staring at the semi-transparent golden scroll floating in front of me, eventually telling it to go away as I waited for the return of either Ayuri or Cythistia, most likely Ayuri will return first.

And as I predicted, Ayuri came in with a cart full of food and drinks.

"Would you like to eat in here or somewhere else mistress?" She asked.

I thought about it for a second and decided that I'd rather not eat in here, so I asked for her recommendation.

"If I had to suggest somewhere, then I'd say the library, as that's always a good place to eat and miss Cythistia will be able to find you easily there as well."

I agreed and we went to the library. When we got there, there were already people in there as usual and I decided to read a story to pass the time whilst I ate and waited for Cythistia to come back and tell me what verdict her grandfather gave to my request.
