Chapter 10: First Night?

Arriving at the apartment, I immediately unpacked the shopping bags and prepared our lunch. Today, I intended to prepare some dishses like capcay, chicken fillet, and chili sauce. It was simple, but I hoped Zavier was going to like it. Once finished, I went straight to my room to invite him to have lunch together.

When Zavier was focused on reading his book, which had been delayed, Airyn entered the bedroom and asked him to have lunch. Finally, he can't help but postpone his reading again. Once he came out, savory smell from the foods caught his nose. At first, he was doubtful that such a quiet woman like Airyn was able to cook, but when he caught the good smell of these dishes, he was convinced that the taste would be worth it.

"Sorry if I only cook this." Airyn said after sitting next to him.

"No problem." Zavier replied and then began to dig up the rice and side dishes in front of him. Airyn also did the same. Once again, they were enjoying their meal time at the moment. Her cooking was undeniably delicious according to him. He really loved the cooking of the woman he just married yesterday.

After lunch, they got back to their own activities. Zavier was preoccupied with the book he had been reading, while Airyn was writing down the physics formulas from the book she always carried with her wherever she went.

Before Zavier realized it, the night had come. He was taking a shower in the bathroom before going to bed. And when he came out, he found Airyn curled up on the couch with her eyes shut.

"Why is she sleeping there?" Zavier muttered, then he immediately lifted her up and placed her onto the bed carefully. He also covered her body with a thick blanket. Afterwards, he took a pillow and bolster for himself to sleep on the couch. Luckily he had a blanket he could use to make himself warm tonight.

When the morning came, Zavier woke up due to the bright sunlight striking his face. Once he came to all his senses, he saw that Airyn was no longer on the bed. He immediately went to the bathroom to wash his face and brush his teeth. When he came out of the bathroom, he found Airyn was busily cooking in the kitchen. He then walked over and stood next to her that made her surprised by his sudden approach.

"Ahh." Airyn whined when she accidentally cut her finger.

"Sorry." Zavier said while looking at her bleeding index finger.

"N—no, it's not your fault... I was too careless," she replied. She slowly pulled her hand out of his grips and immediately washed her fingers with water.

"Please wait, it'll be done soon," she said. Zavier simply listened to her and sit on the pantry chair.

"You can go to school tomorrow," he said that made Airyn turn to look at him.

"Ah well then, I must go home to get my school uniform and other stuffs," she replied by asking her husband for permission.

"I'll take you there," he replied firmly without inviolable.

At this time, Zavier could smell the delicious food she had made. Moreover, her cooking was actually his favorite food. He had just thought that she cooked this food because she knew what he liked. But after thinking about it, he just said to himself, how did she know about it? Even his own family never noticed his favorite food. Under no circumstances he showed any expression while eating, it might be the reason why his father, mother, and brother had no ideas what kind of food he was fond of.

"Sorry, I can only cook this." Airyn said after sitting next to him.

"No worries." Zavier replied indifferently as he began to dig up the mouthwatering dishes in front of him.

"Is it good?" Airyn asked when Zavier was enjoying the carbonara.

"...." She was nearly disappointed when there was no response. In fact, according to Zavier, it was the best carbonara he had ever eaten in his life. However, he was too proud to express his feeling.

After finishing their breakfast, they immediately got prepared to get things from their homes. They were going to Airyn's house first, then they were heading for Zavier's house.

"Ah, Miss Airyn, Young Master Zavier, please come in...," said Auntie Mina once they both arrived at Airyn's house.

"Thank you, Auntie. Aren't mom and dad at home?" Airyn asked her after they was in the living room.

"Madam and master are going out together with Miss Leona. They just left." Auntie Mina answered frankly.

"Well then, Auntie, I need to take some stuffs from my room." Airyn said politely.

"Oh about your stuffs, by the way, I had prepared it from last night, so you can just take it." Auntie Mina replied that brought sweet smile in Airyn's face.

"Thank you Auntie, I'm sorry to bother you. Well then, I'll get them. Hm, Zavier… do you want to go with me or stay here?" She asked timidly to Zavier.

"I'll go with you," he replied. Airyn then walked to her room on the second floor with Zavier following behind.

"Please come in." Airyn said as she opened the door. She went inside and took six suitcases that Auntie Mina had prepared for her.

"Sorry, maybe it's too many." Airyn said after seeing the six big suitcases.

"Are they all books?" Zavier asked while turning to her.

"Ah, it seems that three suitcases contain my books. Would you wait a moment? I'll sort it out again."

"Just take them," he responded.

"Is it okay? I might take too many books."

"It's okay." Zavier responded and then carried two suitcases downstairs with Airyn following behind. She only brought a suitcase as she was not strong enough to carry both of them at the same time like he did. Once the rest of suitcases had been taken downstairs, Zavier put them in the trunk of the car.

"I'm sorry, Auntie. We're leaving now... Please send our greetings to everyone." Airyn said to Auntie Mina. Soon, they left the house and heading for a magnificent house belonging to the Seath family.

"Err, Young Master Zavier and Young Lady Airyn, please come in...." Auntie Sumi greeted them once they arrived at the Seath family's residence.

"Thank you." Airyn responded with a gracious smile. Once they went inside, they saw Revan who was about to go downstairs with cellphone in his hand

"Wow… welcome newlyweds… How was your first night? Was it fun?" Revan asked mischievously. Hearing that, it made Airyn reddened in the face. As for Zavier, his face also turned bright red, but it was from holding back the anger that was already on the tip of her head.
