Trying not to burden
Hyun Soo and Min Jun hurried into the hospital as they made their way to Mrs. Park's room. The doctor met them in the hallway, his expression was serious but calm.
"Mrs. Park is currently resting. We had to administer a sedative because she experienced a panic attack," the doctor explained, glancing at Hyun Soo.
"A panic attack?" Hyun Soo repeated, his shock evident. His mother had never suffered from such episodes, or at least not to his knowledge. Why now, out of the blue?
"Doctor, my mother's never had a panic attack before. She's never been on any medication for it," Hyun Soo stated firmly, trying to make sense of it.
The doctor offered him a sympathetic look. "It seems you're not aware. Your father mentioned during a phone call that Mrs. Park has a history of panic attacks. You may have been too young to remember."
