Two Days Later:
Min Jun arrived at the hospital early, carrying a small duffel bag filled with his mother's clothes. He had made sure to pack her favorite comfortable outfits, the ones she always wore around the house.
As he handed the bag to the nurse in charge of his mother's care, he offered a tired but polite smile.
"Thank you for taking care of her," he said softly.
The nurse, a middle-aged woman with a calm demeanor, nodded and accepted the bag. "It's no trouble, Mr. Kim. We're doing everything we can to help her recover."
Min Jun knew that wasn't entirely true. Despite the hospital staff's efforts, his mother's progress had been slow. Her memories remained elusive, and her responses were often disconnected from reality.
He glanced at the two bodyguards stationed nearby—silent, vigilant presences who had become a constant part of his mother's protection detail.
