2 Chapter 2. Wishes and Punishment

Hearing Karma's confirmation I start giggling like a mad man for a few minutes out pure giddiness and excitement taking a moment to calm down I coughed a few times.

MC: Sorry about going Tryrian there for a bit there. (in a sheepish tone)

Karma:...

MC: Karma?

Karma: Please specify how you wish to reincarnate in Remnant. (Karma speaks in a neutral tone)

I need to think carefully about what I need and want to get the most out of this second chance.

MC: Can I ask a few question before hand?

Karma: Ask as many as you want they do not count against your wishes or punishment.

MC: Kay what does reincarnating in Remnant in entail exactly?

Karma: Aside from what you already know Remnant is not a made up world based on pure fiction, but very real the reason for that is in the multiverse is thinly connected together and the veriest authors in every universe have a innate connection to said multiverse.

Karma's explanation sinks in and brings up a number of questions but better focus on whats relevant to my second life.

Karma: With that in mind the numerous shows you have seen are not all necessarily part of the multiverse but, the ones that are basically simplified versions of their reality. So there many things in Remnant that you are not aware of such as hidden factions and history.

MC: Okay my next question is that can I cheats like in isekai stories.

Karma: You can, however if you are too strong in the world you will disrupt the balance of the world and in the end the world will turn against you to restore said balance.

MC: Hmm, so I can be strong put not overpowering, so what is the maximum limit for me in Remnant?

Karma: Without disrupting the the balance a little weaker then Ozma at his peak after the brothers left the world of Remnant.

MC: Okay, my first wish is to set my combat potential at around where what you just said without breaking the balance of the world.

Karma: Granted.

MC: As for my rebirth in Remnant I would like to be born at roughly the same age as Yang and the rest of the main cast with above average looks and right in the continent of Sanus, plus with good chance to get combat training. Ah please include my past life's memories.

Karma: Second wish is granted 2 left.

MC: Can I have the ability to retain my peak appearance wise, mentally, and physically without aging after I turn 25, plus endowing it to others?

Karma: Granted but you will still die of old age along the others you bless, now for your last wish.

MC: I would like my semblance to be two the first to be glyphs like the Schnees but without being related to them and the second to be one I would have gotten without wishing for anything specific.

Karma: Granted but your semblance with glyphs will be a little weaker then the one you would have originally awoken to. Now with your wishes complete it time to hand down your punishment for your last life but not to worry its a minor thing due to your low negative karma.

I hope so because it a little unnerving to to receive both punishments and rewards in one go. Although I know that I wasn't a saint I wasn't all that bad either so it might not be too serious.

MC: Please don't let my PUN-ishment be growing up with Yang's bad puns.

Karma: As entertaining as that sounds I am not one for cruel and unusual punishments, however I am aware of what you planning so I'm increasing your difficulty in fulling your plans without conflicting with any of your wishes. I wish you the best of luck in your new life.

MC: Thanks and have nice day.
