Old Man

"Give me a moment please" said Natasha as she looked down at her phone.

"Hello" said Natasha as she picked up a call she was receiving on her phone.

"Hello Natasha" came Lia's cheerful voice from the other side of the line.

"How are you?" asked Lia

"I am good Lia, and how are you?" asked Natasha

"I am good too Natasha" said Lia as she smiled.

"Why don't we go shopping today??I really want to do something fun" said Lia

"So what do you say?" she asked.

"Oh well Lia, I would love too" said Natasha.

"But I am a bit busy right now" said Natasha.

"Oh, I see" said Lia.

"Yes, maybe we can do that some other time" said Natasha.

"Oh alright, it's no problem" said Lia.

"But I will show you all the new clothes I bought" said Lia as she laughed.

"Haha, Alright then" said Natasha as she laughed.

"Anyway, I have to go now Lia, see you later" said Natasha a she smiled.

"Alright, see you Natasha" said Lia as she smiled and Natasha cut the call.

"Are you ready now Madam??" asked Mandy as she turned to look at Natasha.

"Yes I am Mandy" said Natasha a she put her phone in her back pocket.

"Then please follow me Madam" said Mandy.

"Alright then" said Natasha as she followed behind Mandy.

"So what happened yesterday??" asked Lexi as she Amalia and Mason were walking from their quarters to the main house to resume their duties.

"What do you mean what happened??" asked Mason as he feigned ignorance.

"Oh don't play dumb Mason" said Lexi.

"Me and Amalia know that you probably went to see the boss to tell him about what you saw and you show him your proof" said Lexi.

"So tell us how it went" said Lexi as Mason stopped walking and he turned to look at her, while Amalia just stayed quiet.

"You are right" said Mason.

"Mhmmm" said Lexi.

"So what happened??" she asked as they stopped walking, they could not discuss this important matter in the house, because Alfred might probably hear them, and they would get in trouble.

"So I went to the boss's office" said Mason.

"And??" asked Lexi.

"And I showed his the picture and told him what I knew" said Mason as he paused.

"Then??" asked Lexi as she was sure that this was going nowhere good, if the Madam found out that it was Mason who had gone spreading ideas into her husband's head, she could have Mason fired, and believe her, she knew the Madam was more than capable of doing that, she was very brutal, and Lexi had experienced that first hand, she was not ever going to forget how Natasha treated her.

"Then after laughing at me very hard for a while, he denied all the allegations of her cheating" said Mason as he sighed.

"How come??" asked Lexi as she was shocked, she least expected this behaviour from the boss, after all, he did not love his wife at all, and yet he could not believe that she would dare cheat on him, meanwhile Amalia was relieved, she also did not believe that the Madam could cheat on the boss.

She did not know her too well, but she was sure that the Madam was a good woman, and she was just always misunderstood.

"He said that he apparently knew the man in the picture" said Mason.

"And that is happened to be the commander of police, and that he and the Madam are very good friends" said Mason.

"You do not seem convinced" said Amalia as she looked at Mason.

"What do you mean??" asked Mason.

"Of course I am not convinced!!" said Mason.

"How can a married woman leave home first thing in the morning to go and meet another man in a hardware store" said Mason as he was sure that everyone else was blind and crazy to believe that there was nothing going on there.

It was just too obvious, it was as if there was a veil covering their eyes from realizing that there was an actually big problem here.

"Well that is none of our business, she is not obliged to clock in and say when she's going out and coming in" said Amalia.

"Exactly!!" said Lexi.

"Amalia is right, it is none of our business" said Lexi.

"I don't know about you, but I would like to keep my job, thank you very much" said Lexi.

"I don't get why you care so much in the first place??" asked Amalia as she looked at Mason.

"Well excuse me if I do not like infidelity" said Mason.

"Well if her own husband believes her, then who are you to say otherwise??" asked Amalia.

"Whatever" said Mason as he looked upset.

"Gosh Mason, who knew that you were such a defender for those being cheated on" said Lexi.

"The Madam is not cheating on the boss" said Amalia as she turned to look at Lexi.

"And what makes you so sure?" asked Lexi.

"I don't know, but I believe that she could never do that" said Amalia.

"Wow you are even defending her, since when did you start to like the Madam anyway??" asked Lexi as she eyed Amalia.

"Same thing I asked her yesterday" said Mason.

"Because it seems like she just wants to defend that woman" said Mason as he looked at Amalia with disappointment.

"I know right??" asked Lexi as both she and Mason turned to look at Amalia.

"Don't tell me that you are starting to like the Madam??" asked Lexi, because she could never like the Madam, that woman was very wicked and brutal.

"And so what if??? What does it matter to you both??" asked Amalia as she looked at the both of them that were birds of a feather.

"Oh, you don't know her at all" said Lexi.

"And you do??" asked Amalia.

"Believe me Amalia, she is the most wicked woman I have ever met" said Lexi

"That was because you insulted her" said Amalia and Lexi went quiet.

"Neither of us have the right to judge her, or anyone else for that matter" said Amalia.

"So I think it's best we all keep quiet, and we don't say anything that we are not sure off" said Amalia.

"I thought I knew you Amalia" said Mason as he looked at her in disappointment.

"And I should say the same for you both" said Amalia as she looked at Lexi and Mason.

"Look I do not want us to fight over a matter that does not even concern us in the first place" said Amalia as she sighed.

"This is not our business at all, it is between the Madam and her husband" said Amalia.

"And I do not have time for this" said Amalia.

"I have to start preparing breakfast, so please free me" said Amalia.

"I don't want to talk about this with you both" she said.

"So see you later" said Amalia as she walked away, leaving Lexi and Mason alone.

"She is just so annoying" said Mason.

"Look in a way she is right, I am done with this matter too" said Lexi.

"See you" she said as she walked away, leaving Mason to wallow in his suspicions.

"Like I said, Pow he was gone in a flash" said Charlie as he was talking in his usual loud manner as he was narrating a story to Michael and Nine.

"I do not believe this nonsense story of yours Charlie" said Michael as he laughed.

"I don't believe anything that dares come out of his mouth" said Nine coldly and Michael laughed.

"That was a low blow Nine" said Michael as he laughed.

"Wow such good friends you both are" said Charlie as he looked annoyed.

"So this is what you three do, spending your days lounging around and wasting my money" came the voice of a man as Charlie, Nine and Michael all turned at the same time to look at who was talking.

"Old man, what a surprise" said Charlie as he smiled.

"Surprise indeed" said the man as he walked closer to where Charlie, Nine and Michael were standing.

"Is that how you greet???" he asked.

"Haha sorry old man" said Charlie.

"Good Morning Sir" said Charlie as he smiled.

"Good Morning Sir" said Michael as he smiled too.

"Good Morning" said Nine.

"Mhmm, Charlie, Michael" said the old man as he nodded.

"What brings you here??" asked Nine as he eyed the old man.

"is it a crime for me to visit a house that is technically mine??" asked the old man as he looked at Nine.

"No, no of course not" said Michael as he smiled.

"I want to know why this one is rude today" said the old man as he pointed to Nine.

"What do you call him again???... Yes Nine??" said the old Man.

"I wonder why you children of nowadays forsake the name your parents gave you, and you instead go settle for nonsense" said the old man.

"I am sure that you did not come here to scold me today" said Nine as he smiled coldly.

"You are right" said the old man.

"I have more important things to do, I just came here to see you all" said the old man.

"Dom is not here" said Charlie.

"I know" said the old man as he walked away.

"Sheesh, the old geezer is really going to cause some trouble today" said Charlie as soon as he was sure that the old man could not hear them.

"Have some respect Charlie" said Michael as he looked at Charlie and he laughed, while Nine was busy thinking on what could this old man possibly want??
