Call you yet?

Dom picked up Joy from school, and they were back on their way home, all Dom could think about what where in the world Natasha could have gone this time??

He did not trust her, no not at all, last time, it happened to be a coincidence that they bumped into each other at the warehouse, and well, after she associated herself with people whom Dom thought were criminals, it was safe to say that he was worried she would get herself into something dangerous that she could not escape from.

"Daddy, are you okay?" came Joy's little voice from the backseat as she was strapped in her car seat.

She noticed that her daddy was awfully quiet, before he when he came to pick her up, they would talk, and he would ask her about her day at school, and then they would laugh, but since he picked her up from school, he had been very quiet.

At first Joy thought that maybe there was something serious going on at the office, and hence why her daddy was so serious and quiet, but now, he was too quiet, and she could tell that he did not look relaxed at all.

"I am alright Princess, why do you ask?" asked Dom as he smiled and he looked at Joy through the rear view mirror.

"You don't look fine daddy, you look very serious, and sad" said Joy in her little voice and Dom felt like his heart was breaking, he did not notice that his princess could read his emotions clearly.

"Oh Princess, I am alright, I am just a bit stressed" said Dom as he sighed and he smiled, he had to learn to keep his emotions in check, especially when he was with his princess.

"Did something bad happen at the office daddy? Is that why you are stressed?" asked Joy.

"No princess, that's not it, it's something else" said Dom as he smiled.

"But don't worry about that, you don't need to worry, I will handle it" said Dom as he smiled.

"So you won't be sad anymore daddy?" asked Joy.

"No Princess, I won't" said Dom as he gave Joy a reassuring smile as she smiled back at him.

"Okay daddy" said Joy as she smiled.

"So how was school today my Princess?" asked Dom as he smiled.

"Daddy it was very, very good, today we played soccer at breaktime, and then we were playing with my other classmates when Leon accidentally bumped into Prince and he scrapped his knee on the ground, and it was bleeding" said Joy

"He was?" asked Dom in surprise.

"Yes he was, but Prince didn't cry, he only asked if that was a fowl, and Clarita was the referee so she said that it was an accident and that there would be no foul" said Joy.

"And then what happened?" asked Dom.

"Well Miss Lolly took Prince to the nurse's office, and he got a bandage on his knee, and Leon kept on saying sorry, and Prince said that it was fine" said Joy.

"Wow, it seems like you had a very interesting day at school princess" said Dom as he smiled.

"Yes daddy, I did, but we didn't play anymore after Prince got hurt, and then breaktime ended by the time we got back from the nurse's office" said Joy as she smiled.

"Oh I see princess, so is Prince's knee okay?" asked Dom.

"It's okay now daddy" said Joy.

"Prince says that the bandage on his knee is cool, it makes look tough" said Joy as she giggled.

"Well that friend of yours is a clown" said Dom as he laughed.

"He is daddy, Leon says that all the time" said Joy as she giggled and Dom drove into his driveway as the car came to a stop.

"Alright Princess, go inside and wash your hands first" said Dom as he turned to the back after he unbuckled his own seatbelt and then he unbuckled Joy's seatbelt.

"Okay daddy, are you going to have lunch with me today?" asked Joy.

"Yes Princess, I am" said Dom as he smiled.

"Yayyyy, okay daddy" said Joy as she was very happy as Dom smiled and he got out of the car as he opened the door for Joy and she walked out of the car with her pink schoolbag as she rushed into the house and Dom smiled helplessly at her.

Dom closed the car door as she locked his car, and he walked into the house as he could hear water running in the far left corner in the downstairs bathroom.

"Princess, I am going to my office, I will join you for lunch soon okay" said Dom.

"Okay daddy" said Joy as she replied and Dom smiled as he walked in the direction of his office as he opened the door, and he closed it behind him as the smile on his face faded as he sighed and he checked his phone.

Natasha still had not replied to all his missed calls, or at least send a message, all he wanted to know was where she was, or else, he would never be at ease.

Dom sighed, he had lost hope of Natasha ever calling him back, all he wanted now was to know just where she went to.

Dom dialed a number on his phone as his call was picked almost instantly.

"Hey Dom" came Lia's happy voice from the other side of the line.

"Hey Lia" said Dom as he sighed.

"What's wrong Dom? You don't sound too good" said Lia as the smile on her face dropped.

"Lia, do you know where Natasha is?" asked Dom as he really wished that she did.

"Natasha?? No… I don't know where she is, isn't she at home?" asked Lia as she was surprised, Dom called her, to ask about Natasha??

"No, she isn't at home, apparently she went on a trip, and she did not tell me where, I was wondering if she by any chance mentioned where she was going to you" said Dom.

"Gosh, well no, she didn't tell me anything, I did call her the other day though, but we only spoke for few minutes, and she did not even tell me that she planned on going on a trip" said Lia as she sounded as confused as Dom was.

"Oh well, alright then, thank you Lia" said Dom as he was about to end the call.

"Okay Dom, take care, and don't stress yourself, I am sure that Natasha return soon" said Lia

"Hmm, I hope so, Bye Lia" said Dom.

"Bye" said Lia as Dom ended the call, he could not rest at ease, not at all, not when he did not know where Natasha was.

Dom sighed as he walked out of his office to the dining room where Joy was already having lunch as she already changed out of her school uniform.

"Daddy, did Mommy call you yet?" asked Joy as she looked at her Father as he sat down beside her.

"No…" said Dom as he paused and he was surprised, why would Joy ask if Natasha called him.

"No your mommy didn't call me, princess" said Dom.

"Oh okay daddy" said Joy as she sounded sad, Dom did not want to tell her that Natasha had just run off again, he was sure that it would make her sad.

"Why do you ask Princess?" asked Dom out of curiosity.

"Well mommy told me that she will call you so she can talk to me" said Joy.

"And why would she need to call me?" asked Dom as he was confused.

"Well Mommy said that she was going on a trip, and she told me that she would be back soon" said Joy.

"Wait she told you that?" asked Dom.

"Yes daddy" said Joy as she nodded her head.

"Do you know where she went princess?" asked Dom as he could not believe that he was so stupid as to think that Natasha would not tell Joy where she was going.

"Yes daddy, she went to Russia" said Joy as she giggled.

"Russia??" asked Dom in disbelief.

"Yes daddy Russia, Russia's capital is Moscow, that is where mommy went to" said Joy as she giggled and Dom was still in disbelief, of all places why would Natasha go to Russia??

"Why did your Mommy go to Russia?" asked Dom.

"Mommy went to Russia to see her uncle, who is my great Uncle" said Joy as she giggled and Dom was left even more puzzled.

Uncle?? Natasha did not have a uncle, they had grown up together, he knew all her family members, and that were only her mom and dad, but now that they were both gone, only he and Joy were her family, so Dom wondered where this mystery Uncle of Natasha came from?

"Did you mommy say when she was coming back?" asked Dom.

"Yes, she said that she would be back in three days, and that once she reached Moscow, she would call me" said Joy.

"I see…" said Dom as he sighed.

"Well princess let's eat lunch, I have to go to the office soon" said Dom as he smiled at Joy, even though his mind was just raging right now.

"Okay daddy" said Joy as she giggled and she ate some of her fries as Dom was busy in his own thoughts, if he was worried for Natasha before, he was twice as worried now.

Natasha yawned as she opened her eyes, she looked at the digital clock by her bed, and it said that the time was 4am.

Natasha sat up straight in bed as she rubbed her eyes, she did not know why she had woken up so early, even though she had been so tired yesterday/

Natasha yawned once again as she took her phone from the beside table, if it was 4am here, then it would be 8pm back home.

Natasha switched on her phone as she was bombarded with many missed calls from Dom, just as she had guessed, Natasha almost laughed, seeing as she was spot on about him calling her once he found out that she was gone.

Natasha braced herself as she dialed Dom's number, she wanted to speak to her baby, and to her surprise, her call was picked in an instant.

"What in the world Natasha, just how can you leave like that?? To Russia, do you know how worried I have been, not knowing where you went to, and how could you just leave me a letter??" asked Dom as he exploded as soon as he picked the call, Natasha had expected that, and she moved her phone away from her ear.

"Where is Joy? Is she awake?" asked Natasha as all she wanted to do was to speak with her baby.

"Yes, she Is awake, but you can't ignore me like that Natasha, just what are you doing in Russia, and what is this I am hearing about an Uncle?" asked Dom.

"You said you won't ask me about anything" said Natasha as she scoffed.

"This is different Natasha, you don't seem to realize how crazy you sound right now" said Dom.

"I want to speak to Joy, put her on the phone" said Natasha as she really was not in the mood for Dom's scolding right now, like he had a right to scold her.

"Natasha, you can't…" said Dom as he was cut off.

"If you don't give Joy the phone, I will hang up, and I won't call you again, so just put her on" said Natasha.

Dom sighed, he knew that she was not playing around, and well he still needed her to call, so at least he would know that she was alright wherever she was in Moscow.

"Fine" said Dom as he walked out of his office and he walked up the stairs to Joy's room as he opened the door and he saw his princess sitting on her bed as she was brushing her hair.

"Princess, your mom is on the phone" said Dom.

"Mommy??!!" asked Joy in surprise as Dom smiled and he handed her the phone.

"Mommy!!" called Joy as she put the phone to her ear.

"Hello my baby" said Natasha as she smiled, she did not realize just how much she had missed hearing her baby's little voice.

"Mommy, mommy, are you in Russia now?" asked Joy as she giggled.

"I am my baby, and how are you?" asked Natasha as she smiled.

"I am good mommy, how is it in Russia??" asked Joy as she giggled.

"My baby it's cold… very cold" said Natasha as she smiled.

"Really?" asked Joy as she giggled.

"Yes baby" said Natasha as she smiled.

"What time is it there mommy?" asked Joy.

"Well it's 4am right now, I just called to wish you a goodnight, and sweet dreams, and I love you" said Natasha as she smiled.

"I love you too mommy" said Joy as she giggled.

"I have to go now my baby, I'm still sleepy, I will call you again tomorrow, so be a good girl and go to sleep" said Natasha.

"Okay Mommy" said Joy as she smiled.

"Alright, goodbye my baby" said Natasha.

"Bye Mommy" said Joy as she giggled and she gave the phone back to Dom.

"Natasha you…" said Dom as he paused as Natasha had already ended the call, Dom sighed, Natasha was just too much, he could not deal with her right now.

"Daddy, mommy said that she is very tired" said Joy as she giggled.

"Oh I can imagine" said Dom in a sarcastic tone as he sighed.

"Princess, what are you doing?" asked Dom as he just shook his head, he would speak to Natasha later.

"Brushing my hair daddy" said Joy as she giggled.

"Well then, let me help you, and then you can go to bed okay?" asked Dom as he smiled.

"Okay daddy" said Joy as she giggled and she gave her daddy her yellow hairbrush as Dom smiled at her.

Natasha sighed, as she looked at her phone, she was still tired, she was going to go back to sleep, after all she would only have to go meet Romanoff at 3pm, and it was just 4am, she still had some time to rest.

So Natasha put her phone down, she closed her eyes, and she went back to sleep.
