Chapter 11: Wife?!

-The Green Wok

"Oh come on, just one bite, please", She clasped her hands together and put on her signature puppy dog eyes,

"You remember who I am right Lihua? that, doesn't work on me"

"Urgh" She groaned admitting defeat. For the past half hour, she had been begging Xie Yan to get a small serving of chicken, but now it was obvious, she wasn't getting any,

She stared sulkily at her salad,

"Lihua, the launch party's tomorrow, you know how much oil it contains, we can't take any chances, besides, you'll get enough to eat after the launch, sound good?"

Lihua's spirits immediately lifted, "Mh hm, sounds great"

"Then I'll get going, see you tomorrow, four pm sharp"

"Yeah, yeah, four, I got it, you don't have to start being a worry wart"

"Tch", She scoffed and walked away thinking how much of an ungrateful brat Lihua was

"Now she's gone, what am I gonna do later?"

'I've already bothered Cora enough this week, maybe I could pass the time with Fu Hao again", A cheeky smile surfaced and she got excited, It was much better between them now and she had been going over to his office more frequently to pester him, it was so much better than staying bored,

She finished her brunch and left for the Fu Corporation.

-Fu Corporation

Su Lihua walked straight in like she owned the place, and made her way to the private elevator. She received curious glances from some of the employees, but since she had been here a lot more lately, it was no longer new to them,

She took the elevator to the twentieth floor and walked straight in the direction of his office,

On her way, she almost bumped into Yu Cheng, his P.A., who was just coming out of his office,

"Good afternoon assistant Yu, I take it that he's in"

"Oh, Mrs Lihua, yeah he is", He quietly adjusted his glasses with his index finger

"Thanks, Oh and, you can just address me as Mrs Fu," She gave a small wave and walked into his office,

Looking in the direction she went in, He blinked twice, 'Mrs Fu?', He knew they were married, but hadn't she hated being addressed with his boss's surname, plus, why was she suddenly coming over so often?

He shook his head putting the questions at the back of his mind and walked back through the hall on his way to the planning department,

"Hi assistant Yu", Two enthusiastic female voices greeted him from behind, He sighed and turned round, "Don't you two have work to be doing?"

"Relax, we're on our lunch breaks", The first one replied, her name was Chuan Li, while her friend was Bing Wen,

"Anyway since you're close to the boss, you should know who the woman who keeps visiting him is", Bing Wen stated,

"I bet she's some wealthy miss off some well-off family trying to get his attention"

"That sounds plausible, but I doubt she's having much luck, with boss being so cold most of the time and all"

Yu Cheng's brow twitched listening to their rubbish, why couldn't they just get back to work and stop bothering him,

"Assistant Yu, what do you say? Is she some rich missy or something?"

He let out a large sigh, He wasn't getting paid enough to accommodate their nonsense,

"I think, you two should get back to work and stop spewing rubbish, plus your speculations are off, that 'Rich Missy' as you so 'kindly' refer to her, is his wife. I would also appreciate it if you left me alone"

He walked off leaving them gaping as if they had seen a ghost,

"Wife?!" They said at the same time, Since when was their boss married?,

Not only had their hearts been shattered, but sadly, there was also no one to cry to.
