STRONG GIRL

ERIC'S POV:

I woke up with some chattering sounds coming from kitchen,I sat on my bed rubbing my eyes when suddenly I jeard someone's steps in my room I look up and saw Henry running towards me and captured me in tight hug and we both fell on bed he was lying on me and I was caressing his hairs when I saw Maya coming in the room smiling,she opened the curtains and look at us with the same cheering smile making me smile too but I quickly hided it , what is happening damn…

MAYA: Good morning…

ERIC: Good morning..(I can't help but smile back)

MAYA: Breakfast is ready please get fresh quickly ,me and Henry are starving..(she said with pout and Henry pouted to in my chest making me chuckle I got up again made Henry stand on floor)

ERIC:You guys should have done without me or would have woken me earlier.. I'm coming..after 5 minutes (I said and quickly went inside with towel hearing Henry's chuckle)

After getting fresh I came out of the room and wore some comfortable pajamas and went down with my wet hairs as I was hungry too and the delicious fragrance of food was making me feel more hungry

I went downstairs and saw Maya and Henry sitting on their respective chairs waiting for me ,I smiled and went towards them and sat on my chair

ERIC: Let's dig in…(we all starts having our breakfast)

After having breakfast I put the plates in the kitchen and I decided to wash the dishes as they both made breakfast,I fold up my sleeves in the meantime Maya sttof Infront of the sink inorder to wash them then I quickly came forward and  move her aside from her shoulder and she looked at me confusingly

MAYA: What!!??

ERIC: Let me..(she was frowning still confused) Henry come on ..come here..(he quickly came running towards me)

HENRY: Yes dad..

ERIC: Come help me with the dishes.(he nodded excitedly and put the chair in the kitchen near the kitchen slab and took out the drying towel,I chuckles and opened the tap to wash dishes) 

MAYA: Um.. what I'm gonna do…(she said while thinking) okay Henry after drying the dishes give me i will put them in their places (Henry nodded and she kissed his cheek,I smiled at them) 

We were Washing dishes while chattering and laughing, it's such a nostalgic feeling for me ,I was feeling like Henry is me and I'm my dad.. just difference is Maya is here with us while in my time dada and me were alone,I was deep in my thoughts when she said

MAYA: What are you thinking??(I smiled and give the last plate to Henry While saying)

ERIC: Just was thinking about my time..you know nostalgia (I said and she chuckles)

We were talking and suddenly the plate from Henry's hand was about to fall,me and Maya tried to catch the plate ,I caught it and look up when we realize we were really close to each other, when suddenly we heard Dad's voice

MR KNIGHT: Are we disturbing you guys??(Henry shouted in excitement and ran towards them ,and we quickly back away ,I went towards dad welcoming him)

ERIC: Hi..dad!!(I hugged him,he hugged me back and from behind Mr Dalton was also standing,I hugged him to ) 

MR DALTON: How are you Eric??(He said with concerned and low voice) 

ERIC: I'm good uncle..come inside (I said and they sat on the couch and my gaze fell on Maya who was still standing in the kitchen) I'm coming in a bit (I went towards the kitchen and put my hand on her shoulder she flinches and look back ,I was about to say something when she said)

MAYA: I'll try my best..I am strong..I will not cry..I promise..I will not let him feel like anything happened..(she said with cracking voice and I nodded while rubbing her shoulder) 

ERIC: Yeah you are strong…now go uncle is waiting (he nodded and took a deep sigh and went out of the kitchen so as me,I was examining Maya's action)

MAYA:Hii..Dad..how are you?(she went towards him and hugged him tightly and he hugged her back with tears,She was trying so hard to not cry ,I don't know why I was seeing some pain in her eyes,after a while she broke the hug and looks at dad)How are you uncle??(he kissed her forehead)

MR KNIGHT: I'm fine my dear..

Mr Knight wasn't saying anything was just looking at his daughter showing smile,he got up and came towards me ,he grab my hand and took me outside we were standing near pool,he made me looks at him and then he hugged me tightly breaking into tears I was a little taken aback and hugged him back too rubbing his back 

MR DALTON: Thank you so much..Eric..you.. don't know.. what you..have done ..for me..My Mia..(I didn't let him finish his sentence)

ERIC: I haven't done anything uncle..she is a really strong girl…(he nodded and smiled while breaking the hug)

MR DALTON: I was so confused before meeting Mia ..I thought she will never gonna face me ..the failure dad who failed to protect her..

ERIC: Uncle it's not like that…you are her hero,her power she always misses you..

MR DALTON: But she never picked up my calls …(he said confusingly)

ERIC: Yeah cause I told her not to (he was looking confused) I said that you gonna talk with him when you will get strong enough and believe me .. she is one of the really strong women I have ever meet (he smiled) 

We both were standing and talking when I heard Daisy's voice

DAISY: I wanna tell you something..?(she said in her heavy voice cause she came running towards me ,I changed her duty to work outside the farmhouse)

ERIC: Yes yes…(I said calmly)

DAISY: I wanna talk about…Umm....(I quickly look up)

ERIC: What…(I asked with confusion but before she could say something further,We heard Henry's voice)

HENRY: Dad…Bear and grandpa are calling you…

ERIC: Coming…(I shouted back..I look at Daisy and said) let's talk later…(she nodded and went back to her work )

We also went back inside the house
