It was almost dark outside. Jiang Ju didn't want to go out, but she couldn't refuse, so she could only nod. After dinner, Du Xi pushed her into the bedroom for her to change her clothes and leave the task of washing the dishes to him.

Jiang Ju didn't want to argue with him over such a small matter, so she put her mask back into her pocket. The two of them walked on the path slowly. The small building they lived in was in an urban village, not far from the commercial street. From the commercial street, they could reach the largest amusement park in the city in about half an hour. The Ferris wheel there was said to be the tallest in the country.

Du Xi bought her a glass of fruit juice on the commercial street before taking a taxi to the amusement park. "If it weren't for the tight management downtown, I would have taken you there on a motorcycle."

He liked her so much that he was willing to grow old with her and protect her in this chaotic world.
