A Rich Man's Lover

This is a story about an open-relationship between an unwilling prostitute and a married man. He was in an open marriage, but she's not the wife. To be one of the many partners of a man committed to another woman was her role. She wanted to hide her feelings that were starting to grow, her longing to be by his side, and lastly herself, by virtue of an open relationship. However, it was all for naught. When everything came to light, she desired to end the relationship they had. Her last words echoed through his mind as she bid him farewell through her mournful eyes. "If only I hadn't met you, I wouldn't be hurting this badly."

February 7, 2021: Formality

"He suddenly departed, Mr Varendel. He seems to be in a hurry." Oliver said as he gestured in the direction of the entrance.

The area looked overly crowded with all the men-in-black lingering around. However, Konrad stood out among the assemblage. It was not because of his stature that was a bit shorter than several of the guards', but because of his aura that drew the attention of people. For that very reason, Rolo managed to spot him rather easily.

"Sir Mordred, tell the guards to stop him. I'll only need a second to greet him. It's our first meeting, so I don't want to let it pass just like this."

"Understood, Mr Varendel," Rai answered before tapping on his in-ear monitor.

While Rai was busy, Rolo gave Oliver a smile, one that the guard didn't appreciate to see at that point in time. That smile made him aware of what the next conversation would be about.
