February 21, 2021: Call

It wasn't a question of whether they would fail or not. They had already reached the point where the only acceptable outcome for Konrad was the death of the perpetrators. Nothing would be able to calm him down but the sight of the enemies writhing in pain while bathing in their own blood.

Konrad made his way towards the lone man who was lying on the floor. Two of the guards had him restrained. It didn't satisfy Konrad, in the least, that the man's face had been beaten up. For all he cared, it would be better if it was a corpse decorating his view. But the fact that he could still torment the poor man sent Konrad an inspiration or two. 

There was no doubt that the crime was an order from those who wanted to make Konrad submit. He had been dealing with such hostilities ever since he ascended to the position of the CEO. As a matter of fact, Konrad didn't mind their presence. He could simply thwart their efforts in order to continue living.
