"Let go! These are mine!"

"No! Mommy told you to share!" 

"I don't want to! You broke three already!" 

"But... but I won't break them anymore. Please, please, I promise." 

Upon remarking the frown on his brother's face and the tears that were pooling on the rims of his eyes, Renzo slowly let go of the box that Seth was trying to take from him. He did so with a stiff, uncompromising expression on his countenance as he slumped on the floor once his grip was emptied. 

"Yay! More colour colours!" Seth rejoiced, scurrying off towards another room while showing off the box of crayons that he just acquired. 

Renzo, who was left in his room, couldn't help but expel his frustrations by heaving a sigh.
