February 14, 2021: Appeasement

It might just be a disproportionate reaction on Syn's part, but the trauma she had acquired from that incident ran deep in her mind and body. This was not something that she could just forget because she felt inclined to. The lady tried to deceive herself, over and over again, that it would be the new norm for her. Nevertheless, she was only a young lady who was living all on her own in a city full of temptations. 

There might be people who would be willing to go out of their way to give her a helping hand. However, Syn believed that she had already caused more trouble than necessary, so her refusal to call someone at that moment was because of this reason. If anything, she should not hesitate in asking for help in her current circumstance. The culprits, who she would be facing, were not exactly weak, adding to the fact that she didn't know a single way to defend herself aside from her sharp tongue.
