A Rich Man's Lover

This is a story about an open-relationship between an unwilling prostitute and a married man. He was in an open marriage, but she's not the wife. To be one of the many partners of a man committed to another woman was her role. She wanted to hide her feelings that were starting to grow, her longing to be by his side, and lastly herself, by virtue of an open relationship. However, it was all for naught. When everything came to light, she desired to end the relationship they had. Her last words echoed through his mind as she bid him farewell through her mournful eyes. "If only I hadn't met you, I wouldn't be hurting this badly."

Although Raeliana had no plans of giving up on her daughter, she couldn't help but feel that exhaustion had already replaced the blood in her veins.

No matter how many procedures her daughter was required to undergo,

no matter how much the overall treatment would cost,

no matter how extensive the maintenance would be,

Raeliana only had one desire and that was to see Syn get better.

She didn't even dare think of how tiring it would be to care for her ailing daughter. The woman just wanted to see the young girl get back her vigour. However, the longer that they stayed in the hospital, it seemed that Syn's condition was solely turning for the worse. As a mother, it was harrowing to be made aware that her child was knocking on death's door.
