A Reincarnator's Journey

David Valor, a normal sophomore student, dies in a cliche 'truck-kun' accident just to get sent to another world by the system! Using the 'true' system, he slowly rises to the top of the food chain before truly begining his adventure! (David may not be a "Good" Mc as I want to write it in a way of what I would do if I was in this situation myself. Of course there will also be some things different than what I think as well.) *** Note: I have no real plans for this story, it was made on a whim, so it may lose quality on the way, please read with caution! Schedule: I'm still in school so updates will also be somewhat slow, also, english is not my first language so please comment if I wrote something wrong! Thank you for reading!

Defeating Gluri

"Hah!"

*Boom~ Boom~ Boom~*

Shockwaves had rung out in the colosseum, shaping some cracks onto the walls.

They continue to clash, a slash, a kick, parry, a counter, everything was in there.

'Since we're being serious...'

[Earth Spike]!

A mound appeared behind Gluri, quickly sprouting into a sharp spike able to pierce a tier 3 powerhouse with no problem.

Gluri sensed it and narrowly dodged by tilting his head. He grabbed the sprouting spike that so happened to stop as soon as he grabbed it, solidifying itself.

'Now!' David swept his legs.

'Fuck! I can't believe I fell for such a thing! I'm getting rusty.' Gluri frowned, planted his hand onto the sand, and kicked him while he was in a one-handed handstand.

David's vigilance had come to fruition, he calmly stepped to the side and threw three [Fireballs] towards Gluri.

Gluri clenched to spike, broke off a piece, and threw it at the fireball in the middle.

He needed to get out of its range. He backflipped a few times, creating a few meters of distance between them.

Gluri didn't let his guard down and stared at David with some seriousness in his eyes.

"I still have the range advantage, you know?" David kept his stance strong.

"Do you?" Immediately, the flow of wind changed. The strands of mana slowly turned into visible wind, appearing below his feet.

'Yep, he definitely has wind magic.' David thought, seeing the small whirlwinds appearing on Gluri's feet.

Gluri took off and flew into the air, looking down on David.

He had a taunting expression on his face, smiling at him.

David's expression slightly darkened, he crouched slightly, revealing his wings, breaking part of his uniform once again before using mana to repair it.

*Whoosh~*

His wings flapped, and he flew into the air, rushing towards Gluri.

The aura around him burst out, he clenched his staff, casting [Mana Shield] on himself and the staff again, and slammed his staff on Gluri.

Naturally, Gluri had blocked it, "Is that all you've got, kid?"

He countered, crescent kicking David to the left, stunning him.

David gritted his teeth and kept pushing with more strength place into his arms, even though he was stunned at the strength of Gluri's kick, he instinctively spun and knocked him with the staff with speed even faster than his for a second.

[Physical Enhancement]!

'Time to test this out!' David kept the presure on Gluri strong, he rushed him with a fury of attacks, shocking Gluri at his increase in strength.

He opened his eyes in surprise, "He's gotten much stronger! Although he increased in rank, how could he gain such strength from the second to third rank!?" He yelled.

David didn't respond, he could already feel some pressure on the staff, it was unstable, and he needed to end the fight quickly.

He moved again...

The staff had hit one of his sides, making him feel nauseous, "Argh!"

David switched up his palm placement, and placed even more strength on to staff, causing it to crack.

'Fuck! Not now!' David pushed Gluri away, and flapped his wings, giving him some distance.

David quickly loosened his grip and tried to use mana to reconnect the crack parts back together. It wasn't completely successful, it was still cracking a bit, just at a slower pace.

He continued to rush Gluri, now slightly more cautious, yet more forceful, since he needed to end the fight before his weapon broke. It wasn't if he was in danger, but a goal he had set for himself when he was training.

*Pa~ Pa~ Pa~ Pa~*

The sounds of strikes hitting sounded in the colosseum. David kicked him away again after seeing that his staff really couldn't hold on anymore.

Gluri was unstable for a moment but saw that David's weapon was starting to crack more and more.

"Seems like your training weapon is starting to reach its limit, what are you going to do now?" He taunted.

David didn't respond, as he was focused on trying to slow the cracks appearing on his staff.

'Shit!' David cursed under his breath.

He lifted his head and looked at Gluri with a piercing gaze that had even stunned him for a second.

*Crack~*

'Huh? What... just... happened?' Gluri couldn't feel a thing, but he saw that David had suddenly appeared in front of him before his vision went dark.

David had kicked him in the liver with all of his force, knocking him out. The force he kicked him with might as well make any normal tier 2 beings organs burst... if he attacked at the right place, which he did, this time.

Even if Gluri was a tier 3 with tier 4 peak experiences and senses, to fight with 15 students at the same time while controlling 15 of yourself... not a very easy task.

*Thud~*

Gluri fell onto the ground, but instead of just staying there, he had just... disappeared.

...

"Damn... system, I did the task... I swear to god if you do a technicality just to refuse a reward..."

*Ding~*

David looked at the panel in front of him, "Hah? The first one makes sense... actually both of them make sense, power makes right here in this world..." David muttered.

"Does... does this at least come with some benefits...?" David asked with an uncertain voice.

...

"I see... I'll take that as a maybe." David nodded.

The walls of the colosseum had continued to crack... but it was different as if the entire place was about to crumble.

*Rumble~*

*Crack~*

The walls... no, the entire realm began to crack. The cracks began to spread throughout the dimension, breaking away, and revealing a large space of... light?

*Whoosh~*

'Ah fu-' Before David could even see what was there, he was instantly teleported out of the colosseum.

Chapter 91 End...

Meh, I tried, and I felt like crap. Maybe I didn't try my best, or maybe I was tired as hell writing this... :P
